Sam's Sister made her stakes debut a winning one yesterday, 26 December 2014, at Santa Anita. Ridden by Elvis Trujillo, the three-year-old Brother Derek daughter won the La Brea Stakes - her fourth victory in five starts.
Favoured Taris could not held on and finished second under Rafael Bejarano, the early-trailing Thank You Marylou finished third with Joel Rosario in the irons.
