Oh well. I actually.... have no idea yet. I'm just having a lot of fun writing from different POVs, from different points in time right now. I've got something written like exactly after the big finale, and something a couple of years down the line, and even something way into the future... I'm just indulging myself a lot at this point with this thing, without really planning anything, so at some point I'm going to have to look at the big pile of stuff/fluff with a more critical eye and give it some sort of shape and readable form I guess :')

OK all my pet peeves are super dumb and irrational, but one thing that really grinds my gears is people who mumble things while reading? Like, reading aloud YEAH THAT'S FINE but people who just kinda whisper it to themselves so all I hear is this buzzing it's really annoying I'm sorry (looking at you durinssons ily)
10) What would be the most important qualities you’d look for in a life partner?
Excellent sense of humour, no nonsense attitude so they will come to me with any problems they have rather than skirting around the issue and getting really passive-aggressive to avoid a confrontation, someone happy to let me be independent/be independent themselves, similar political views, uhhhhh??? yeah I mostly want someone I can laugh with tbh and also not an asshole

Reading a little bit, because even as he’s selecting a book from the shelf, settling down in a chair, lighting a candle in case he gets so immersed that natural light fades, Thorin is thinking “I should be elsewhere, I should be defeating Smaug, I should be training, I should be making sure Kili and Fili don’t get themselves killed” however that doesn’t stop him and he reads whole books at a time anyway
seriously though imagine thorin complaining about the whole list of things he has to do even as dwalin unbuttons his shirt, pushes him down onto bed, pulls his boots off. you know he’d only shut up once dwalin had stuck his hand down thorin’s trousers. hnng
