shoutout to all my Brown n Black nerds who are into Sociology and Anthropology and Ethnography & get all excited for new academic works and the opportunity to raise critical questions and conduct your own research and help enact change based on those findings. Even tho when we read about the "fathers" of our discipline, we stick it out, master their theories, challenge their theories, and fuckin write dope ass academic pieces that contribute sooo much to new forms of thinking and greater knowledge on subjects that might not otherwise be addressed.
