I'm not a big #DcComics type of guy but I am a #Priest type of guy so when I heard he was doing #JusticeLeague I had to pick it up. I'm happy I did. This is the first JL comic I've EVER purchased and I wasn't disappointed. Now I know nothing about the history of the group or book other then the very basics. It seems as if Batman might be taking a back seat instead of a leadership role and if they gave that to Cyborg I would be very happy. The two Green Lanterns are a Latina and a Black Muslim so that makes me happy. Superman and The Flash are damn near non-existent and since they are my least favorite Dc Super friends I hope they keep it that way. #PeteWoods did the art and it was nice to look at. I'll probably pick up the next issue on #BrownBagDay. #ComicsICopped (at Irvington, New Jersey)
I actually got a official #BrownBagDay post. #MidtownComics still uses them lol. I stopped by yesterday after the play to pick up #BlackPanther 167. I have to say I'm quite pleased with this issue. I was going to say the art is still not to the quality of the writing but there are panels and pages here that I truly like. #LeonardKirk did his thing. #TaNehisiCoates did his thing in this issue as well. Shuri's dialogue in the beginning of the issue makes her my favorite character in this book. When I pick up the Ed Piskor's X-Men book next week Imma pick up the next issue of Black Panther.
