Ingredients: 1 cup sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until batter is smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter. Allow brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
