Ok you know that little noise cats make...?
Be Forewarned, Dear Reader | Phinnip (BRRP)
Phineas Flynn was not the greatest at his job as a delivery boy. He tended to linger longer than necessary, making conversation with the general store’s clients and frequently forgetting (and then remembering halfway back to the shop) payment. It wasn’t that Phineas didn’t take his job seriously. It just didn’t come naturally to him to be prompt, conscientious, or brief in his interactions.
But he had one client whom he prioritized, and for whom Phineas was very careful not to disappoint: Lady Fipperhorn. Also known as Pip, the kitchen boy at Summerview Hall. Phineas knew that Pip’s operation was delicate and very important-- while the Queens’ declarations were important, what people really wanted was all the salacious gossip. That was what kept the Season alive. And while Phineas had absolutely no interest in the goings-on of the Season, he did understand the gravity of the situation with Lady Fipperhorn. And so Phineas approached his deliveries of the weekly papers to the printing press with much more care than his general store deliveries.
Except... well, he could have been more careful this week. People were already starting to whisper about who Lady Fipperhorn could be, and so Phineas really should have gone a different way tonight, but he didn’t. And that was how he ended up where he was now: running through the streets of London, a royal guard chasing him as he ran down every dark alleyway and through every hidden street until he lost the guard.
It was a good thing being a delivery boy meant learning the streets of London so intimately. But now he had to face Pip.
By the time Phineas made it back to Summerview Hall, his face was bright pink and he was out of breath, but still clutching the papers tightly. He entered through the back of the kitchen, where deliveries normally went. “Er, Pip?” Phineas said nervously. “There’s... been a problem.”

We Should Tempt Scandal More Often | Waterlogged
Sometimes, one had to play dirty.
Aquata knew Pacifica was doing her best. She had even attracted the attentions of a duke, which was impressive. But there were others who were doing better than she, dancing with the Princess and even receiving diamond gifts from her and Aquata knew she needed to do something to get ahead. Spreading a rumor about one of the more eligible bachelors or bachelorettes with whom Pacifica was competing (because this was a competition, plain and simple) could help to tarnish their reputations enough to allow Pacifica to rise.
She could always make one up, but Aquata thought that having at least a little basis in fact could help. And there was no better place to find out the shadowy deeds of high society than the local tavern. So Aquata put on a hooded cloak she hoped would disguise her (it would not do to have a scandal spread about her, after all) and went to the tavern. She ordered a glass of sherry and went to find a table in a shadowy corner where she could make conversation, but avoid being recognized. There was no telling how that strategy would really play out, but Aquata wanted to be as safe as possible.
“Pardon me, but is this seat taken?” Aquata asked, trying not to sound too uppity. It was hard to forget all of those years of training, but she didn’t want to give herself away too quickly.

“Marianne’s abilities were, in many respects, quite equal to Elinor’s. She was sensible and clever; but eager in every thing: her sorrows, her joys, could have no moderation. She was generous, amiable, interesting: she was everything but prudent.”

“Well, he certainly is very agreeable, and I give you leave to like him. You have liked many a stupider person.”

Title/occupation: Lady/ Ward of the Viscount
Age: Twenty-one
Sponsor: Seamus MacTunnag
Magick Status: Magick
Accoutrement: Pearled Fan
Accomplishments: Well-Traveled, Well-Read, A Good Shot.
Biography:
Rosetta hails from New York in the United States, she was born in the countryside to an unusual pairing of a garden-pixie mother and human father. Her father was a steel baron, who had met Rosetta's mother during a summer outing at the estate home in upper New York.
The marriage was a quiet affair, the couple preferring the seclusion of the countryside, where neighbors asked less questions. As she grew up, Rosetta exhibited the affinity for flowers and plants that her mother had, and the estate garden was the envy of their surroundings.
Despite her mixed magick parentage, Rosetta was educated as a proper young lady befitting her family's fortune, and she wanted for nothing- aside from more trips into the city to buy gowns and attend festivities. Fearing that her young daughter may be snubbed due to her pixie roots, Rosetta's mother arranged a marriage match with another pixie family trying to strike out in the world of man.
There were many playdates, and letters exchanged by the young kids as they grew up. However plans could change in a moment, and when Rosetta lost both her parents in a carriage accident, the fifteen year old found herself shuttled off to England, her guardian an old friend of her father's, Seamus MacTunnag.
While she adjusted to the tragedy, and the move-- with marriage already figured out, the redhead was immersed in whatever activities Seamus saw fit to tutor his young charge in. There were fantastical trips all over the world, and she was encouraged to try out whatever hobby struck her fancy, however feminine or not they may be.
However, when she was eighteen tragedy struck again and Rosetta lost her intended and childhood friend in another accident. After a period of mourning, she finds herself about to enter the marriage market for her first season. However, she is charmed by the romanticism of the affair, or at least what she's heard about it. If nothing else, it gives her something to talk about with her found family that she has at the manor.
