legitimately i do not understand why more people don't do crazy yaoi with them. like they got such a fascinating blend of trust and resentment and devotion going on... despite the fact that they have a pretty fraught and weird and ethically dubious relationship, bruce still trusts leonard as his friend and his psychiatrist, and leonard is still ready to basically drop everything else in his life to help bruce. and frankly i believe in my heart that there's only so much a guy can try to emulate or become a better version of another guy, up unto dating that other guy's girlfriend before i start to think there's a little projection going on... i call this the spangel principle.
