Final Research Paper

My final research paper is about celebrities and how the paparazzi ruins their image by catching them at their worst moments and contributing into ruining their careers. My paper goes over all aspects of this topic starting with defining privacy and identity and what that means to a typical person. The paper also features many examples of celebrities who have had problems with paparazzi and even death caused by paparazzi. The paper argues many valid points on why it is immoral and unfair for the paparazzi to do these actions and what amendment they are breaking. This topic was a rather hard one to find a lot of information on but is very interesting when you look into depth on all the incidents that celebrities have encountered with a paparazzi. I learned many incidents with celebrities that I was unaware of such as Justin Bieber and Brad Pitt, who had personal stories where they encountered paparazzi in a negative way.

Life Long Student

Life Long Student has many different meanings than what meets the eye. I would consider everyone to be a life long student because they will be forever learning throughout their whole life and the knowledge will never stop flowing to them. We grow up from the time we can remember being a student to the end of college which is around age 23. Post college you don't just stop learning as well since you are faced with a whole new aspect of life which is being on your own and being in whichever field of study you chose to pursue in schooling. Overall, I strongly feel that everyone is considered a life long student because you will always be learning new things.

Death Penalty & Ethos

According to dictionary.com, Ethos is the moral element in dramatic literature that determines a character's action rather than his or her thought or emotion. Giving one the death penalty and an ethos appeal are able to be linked with one another. Giving one the death penalty is a very controversial topic at the moment that no one really wants to be the one voice to say yes it is acceptable to give or no it is immoral. This relates to ethos because they are both similar about determining an action that is dramatic.

1. In the music video "Wing$" by Macklemore, It argues that Consumerism is hurting the global population especially focusing on the United States.

2. Consumerism is a major problem in the United States and Macklemore proves to his audience why.

"We are what we wear, we wear what we are". These are some of the lyrics that the music video "Wing$" provides for its audience. The strong use of tone, video/images and music gives the viewers a complete sense of the trouble and importance of consumerism in the world today.

Assertion: The amount of racism in the country is nowhere near what is used to be, but that doesn't mean it is completely over. The world needs to all come to a consensus that racism is something that cannot be tolerated and will not be tolerated.

Example: The music video has a heavy focus on its lyrics to get its point across. "Yo', whatever happened to the values of humanity, Whatever happened to the fairness in equality, Instead of spreading love we're spreading animosity, Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity".

Explanation: These set of lyrics here basically sum up the entirety of the song and the message that is trying to be unveiled. This is saying what happened to being fair and equal to everyone, instead people are continuing to  be prejudice and hateful against races other than theirs.

Significance: This is very significant because this is a major problem and has always been one for our country. It is easy to fix if people just learn to respect others and treat them the way they want to be treated.
