Set Thirty Seven

Where we start doing some silly things! Like becoming our true shelves! Meet a perpetually falling lady. Attempt some ladder fisticuffs! And die... a lot... but that’s not really anything new.

Shit starts moving and we go up n’ down and back up and then down a bit too fast as I fall to my death a few more times. We fight some predators who have masks that I can’t get because only they drop ‘em and since they’re invaders you only get one shot. Bleh.

And then we get the everloving shit beaten out of us by Sir Fume-Raime. Holy heck he was strong. It took some extra jolly co-operators to beat him both times. Cheers to Bludwakka and Willbur, the former of which sadly did not live to see the defeat.

One crown get.

I had so much fun with Rachel

The first time she spawned she went up the ladder leading down to her area and started punching me in the butt. I tried to kick her in the face but the controls for ladder fighting is different from DS3 so I ended up uselessly flailing my fists above me.

I was desperate to get a ladder rematch but it was like she sensed I’d figured out my ladder strats cause she would not go up the ladder again.

I spent so much time and so many deaths trying to bait her back up. She’d come close, grab the bottom rungs, and then immediately jump off again. Other times she’d just buff her weapon and then turn her back and ignore me, taunting me with her ladder refusal.

After I’d vanquished her from my own world I continued my ladder-baiting attempts in @paranoidbunbun‘s world. It sort of got him killed once. Whoops.

In the end I never got my ladder rematch. Boo.
