2. Favourite Death metal band?
Hmm either Dethklok or Nile. I'm not huge on death metal, but Nile has a really distinct sound and subject matter, so it keeps my attention. As for Dethklok, I'm just emotionally attached to those buttholes, in the cartoon and RL. XD
3. Favourite Thrash metal band?
Probably Slayer, just because I'm most familiar with them. Exodus, Overkill, and Death Angel are up there.

ahaha I don't listen to this like AT ALL but my favourite is Preschool Tea Party Massacre just because of their name and song titles. Pope Mobile Drive-By Shooting, No Viewing Octopus Porn on Company Time, We Finally Got a Drummer But He's Paralyzed From the Neck Down, etc.
11. A Metal band you don't like, but understand why people like?
Mmmm I'm gonna go with Bullet for my Valentine because I've never cared for them, but I can see why they might resonate with their fans.
13. Best Decade of Metal?
Ugh this is so hard. I want to say the '80s because so many roots were laid down, but I want to go with the '00s because a lot of my favourite bands/songs were either around or created during that time. Plus, that was when I really started listening to metal.
17. Should metal have anything to do with religion?
Yes because metal has the potential to be fearless in the subject matter it explores, whereas religion takes the opposite stance, that there are sacred answers to questions we shouldn't be asking. No because when metal becomes entwined with religious ideology or symbolism, it can be just as bad as the religion itself. Even black metal, as rebellious as it is, is rooted in Christianity.

Metallll, I like some punk but I've never been nearly as much into it as metal.

41. A Metal band you loved and now hate?
I've been having some trouble with this one, since it takes a lot for me to hate a band. There are bands that altered their direction that left me scratching my head (Darkthrone, Metallica, Motley Crue pop into mind), and maybe I found out about some ideologies the members held that made me lose respect for them personally (see: neo-nazi musicians), but. . .I don't really know beyond that?

Pff who's not going to say guitar, bass, or drums, but I love me some synths in metal. Or the accordion lol
