The personification of escape

. At first, it was just a simple creature standing in the void, without direction, without a story. But after a long discussion about this character with Christopher, we wanted to give it life, to give it a purpose. This is how the personification of escape was born; a creature running away from a cloud of green dust, chased by a dark, moving form something almost alive.

When I showed this drawing to a classmate, he told me it was the story of his life. He had spent his existence running away running from his problems, his past, running from everything. This is the essence of this artwork. It is not just about an escape; it questions what makes us run and what always tries to catch up with us.

[ I wanted to dive into something interesting about the phrase "I see you see me smiling." Picture a place where light and shadow mix together, and my voice echoes like a thread connecting different realities.

Repeating this phrase feels like a magical chant, floating between what we know and what we don’t. It makes you think: what does it really mean to “see”? Are we just noticing things, or are we peeking into someone else’s feelings, like looking into a hidden book of worries?

My laugh, a little creepy, adds a strange twist. It sneaks in between the words, breaking the silence, like a sweet poison in a bottle of honey. This laugh, like rain hitting wilted flowers, makes you curious but also a bit uneasy. It encourages you to think about your own smiles: are they real, or are they hiding something deeper?

So, when I combine the phrase and the laugh, it raises a big question: who is really watching whom? In this funny dance, we all become puppets on a string, caught between what’s true and what’s not.
