Goddess, what kind of deluge had they been granted with today?
Mahogany hues peering out from between rumpled locks, it appears its all the female can do to try to wring the excess water from her hair as she shudders on her own beneath an empty bus stop, having thoroughly deemed her clothes a lost cause; the cold wind rushing through appearing utterly intent in its aim to prevent her from gaining any semblance of warmth whatsoever.
Yet soft spoken utterance is just loud enough to draw her attention away for but a moment - Jackie glancing upwards in response, only for gaze to so swiftly fall upon a stranger that appears to have meandered in from the storm; looking for his own part as though he must have drowned in a pool just the same way that she had. Good gods.
They really did have all the luck.
“Unfortunately not. Didn’t even have the decency to give a proper warning before it was suddenly raining cats and dogs.” A weary response, as she shook her head with but the slightest huff. “Figures we’d get stuck in it just when the last bus would have left for the day, too.”
