She’d met a lot of royalty in her time. Queens. Princesses. Princes. Kings. And this...he...was something totally different. Not really kingly. Or regal. Or put together at all. She was somewhat shocked that he wasn’t lounging on the throne eating sour patch kids decked in sweats and a t-shirt. They’d briefed her on the plane ride over. Or rather, they’d briefed Adrienne and she’d eavesdropped ( as per usual ), so she knew that he was young. But there were other young ones. And none of them looked this young. Caroline stared at him for a solid fifteen seconds before she had to say something, shaking her head and holding up a hand to stop him mid-sentence. “Do they even teach etiquette here?” Not that she was one to talk. “Seriously. Your highness. They’re gonna eat you alive out there.” The whole world. The other royals. He was young and seemed vaguely clueless and just begging to be trampled by a herd of reporters and bitchy leaders from other nations. “You have a plan, right? For the kingdom or the throne or the fact that you’re going to have to answer questions one day?”

She wouldn’t yell at him. Really, she wouldn’t. It wasn’t fair that she was struggling with her Divination homework and simply wanted to set it on fire. Making things up only got you so far and Skye wanted to make a real attempt on her homework.
That was a fucking stupid idea.
“Just walk away.” She said between clenched teeth.

“So, are you coming over here to complain about one of the Gryffindors or wanting help? If it’s homework, I’m telling you in advance I’m horrid with Divination, but pretty good with Charms.” People approaching her during the weekends was almost always a concern for her. More so when they were from another house. Sure she had acquaintances in other houses, but most of her friends were fellow Gryffindors. It wasn’t anything against those in the other houses, it just made it harder for her to socialize with them.

caroline looked around the room before her eyes settled on prince jeremy with an exasperated sigh. “this place makes me dreadfully homesick.” if she was honest, most of it had to do with all the fish. so much fish.

“No... I don’t. Why would I?” She gives him a smile.

Daisy quickly looks around, making sure her boss isn’t looking. She had just been allowed to work at the bar and she didn’t want to get in trouble for not checking ID’s within a day.
“Here.” She says, passing him a glass of vodka with a small dash of sprite. “Not the best distraction, but one or two will get the job done.”
It’s a little strong, though. You might want to drink it slowly.” She warns, afraid he might chug it in one go like the copious amounts of frat boys she’s seen here before.
