The real insight
You don't need to sit 14 hours a day. You just need to understand why someone would and whether it serves ego exposure or ego concealment.
Because sitting in stillness doesn’t liberate you by default. It only liberates if it’s used as a disillusionment tool to confront the fact that “I am a process addicted to activity to preserve the illusion of self.”
Then and only then does boredom become diagnostic. Not sacred. Not transformative. Justrevealing. Just stillness.
And in stillness, the ego starts to scream again I’m bored! I’m useless! I don’t exist! And that’s the point. Boredom is not a failure. It’s proof that your system runs on noise.
So sitting in silence can be useful but only if it helps you see this that you I a loop that keeps acting just to feel real.
That insight is not peace. Not bliss. Just truth. And that’s enough.
