ahhh let's see if i can even come up with five because a lot of german media fits into the category i'd rather not inflict this on anyone lmao

the whole tatort / polizeiruf 110 universe (at least a well-chosen selection of it...)

hörspiele in general, especially the whole maritim kosmos (i just want everyone to be able to listen to mycroft holmes and oscar wilde bicker about stuff whilst going on trippy adventures ok)

the original tatortreiniger (and not whatever the bbc is doing with it)

kleo (though that one might already be quite popular outside of germany, and you should be able to watch it on netflix?)

He’s not sure what’s gotten into the lad, but James has been flashing Robbie looks like that all day when they’ve seen each other between seminars, and memorably and somewhat embarrassingly, during the one seminar they attended together, pressing his thigh against Robbie’s as Robbie tried not to squirm in his plastic seat. It has made the first day of the conference go by more quickly but he’s not sure he’s retained much of the information presented. 

This thing between them is still new, new enough that they haven’t defined it beyond James spends even more time at Robbie’s flat now and doesn’t sleep on the sofa when he stays over. At some point they’re going to have to talk about it, and at some point Innocent is going to realise what’s going on, but in the meantime, Robbie has had more sex in the past two months than he had since he was a newlywed. 

“Did you have something to do with that?” Robbie asks once they’re in the room. 

“What?” James says, all mock-innocence, dropping their holdalls on the floor by the window. 

“You look mighty chuffed for someone who didn’t.”

James shrugs. “Call it a happy accident.” He shucks his jacket, letting it fall to the floor behind him and stalks toward Robbie, loosening his tie as he goes. Robbie is still none-the-wiser about James’ involvement in their room having only one bed, but he doesn’t much care by the time James reaches him
