Moodboard of modern au brynden rivers aka bloodraven
More kit appreciation, with some new faces (for Tumblr that is, I’ve made these Sims awhile ago).
All three qualify for the ‘gentle giant’ archetype that I love so much, so I had to have them ‘meet’.
@rvrprnc !!
“your grace.” eleyana’s voice low and smooth even though her heart felt anything but calm. she had never met him, but knew that face.
sleeplessness seemed to follow the princess from dorne as the darkness of night engulfed the eyrie. shadows from nearby torches that scattered the walls. a warm glow illuminated the halls of the castle, a nice change to the otherwise cold and rigid atmosphere that wafted through the space. with such uncertainties in westeros sleep did not come easy for eleyana. the worries of how this possible turmoil could influence dorne made her even more eager to secure her family’s security.
that face. it was a face her ladies pointed out in her beginning days of arriving. it was a face she had not taken much time to study in detail. all she could was steal passing glances from across the great hall . but nonetheless she knew well enough that was prince brynden tully who stood at the base of that staircase. the princess could not distinguish whether her shock came from his unannounced presence or the fact that she could finally take a proper look at the man that carried so much weight to his name. “well this is a rather... unexpected encounter.” her face now composed compared to the earlier surprised expression it bore. she was even bold enough to let the corner of her lips curl into a slight smirk.
eleyana quietly made her way down the narrow winding staircase as her dark cloak kissed each step. normally she would not bother with the outer garment, but the cloth allowed her to hide the holster resting on her hips. the two daggers aligned alongside her far too obvious in the flowing gowns she normally wore. she needed to remind herself that this was an unfamiliar place and with that came certain dangers she needed to protect herself from. she was warned of the very danger standing before her and yet, she carried on. in any other setting with a different group of people the man before her would have a blade placed up against his throat before he could even realize what fate had befallen him. but no matter her instinct eleyana forced herself to resist. she was sent here to forge new alliances, rather than gain new enemies. “my apologies if my presence startled you.”
Duke Brynden’s motives had dropped very low but he had dinner and was fine.
King Aegon cannot unsee what he just witnessed. He must face the fact that there might be some truth in the rumors about his uncle Brynden.
Brynden with his favourite niece.
Just a reminder that Brynden Tully is a softie who still cherishes his family.
