Colored up my Alexandria doodle from last month so she can fit in with my recent Brynn and Ryoba pinups.

Adding more to my pile of expression doodles, this time with an old OC, Lynette, who still needs a full redraw.

I also threw in the previous expression doodles to have them all together.

Another pair of ladies with some expression sketches (along with the last three just to keep them all together). Just like with the last three, I’m hoping the ways Brynn and Elena make their expressions can help show their individual personalities.

Another character redraw, this time Brynn, a mercenary with stone powers who I’ve shared several times before. In terms of her outfit, she didn’t actually change much (or at all, really), but there’s still her combat uniform I gotta do for her. She’s one of the few characters with two main outfits, and this is her informal casual wear. I think you can find the 2018 version of her combat uniform if you search her name tag in my blog.

Story-wise, she’s the same: a former Angelus Tech operative who defected to Love & War. Here’s her little story blurb:

Brynn is a veteran mercenary, who knows the ins and outs of the business as a hired gun and generally puts the pay above all else. Formerly an elite soldier for Angelus Tech, Brynn had experimental abilities given to her by their Rebirth Program. But after defecting to the Love & War Agency, those same abilities have now made her one of Love & War’s top twelve agents, going under the codename Agent November.

Brynn is often a swing-first-ask-questions-never kind of woman, preferring to deal with situations using her size and strength. Knowing herself as hired muscle, she rarely concerns over deeper intentions, or ulterior motives—at the end of the day, it’s just business to her. Contrasting her no-nonsense approach to her job, Brynn has a boisterous, rowdy personality when off duty. She’s an aggressive woman in many aspects, both in how she operates on the field and also in how she simply has fun after a large paycheck.

I think I’m at nine different pinups, now? A lot more than I intended, but here we are anyway. These are another pair of original characters: the big bruiser mercenary Brynn, who I’ve posted and talked about before; and Evie, who belongs to @jabeanie. Evie’s also a fist fighter, though here I didn’t draw her gauntlets (think kinda like Yang from RWBY). I like to think Brynn and Evie are good friends, who’s idea of bonding is punching each other in the face. They probably go to the same places to take a break and cut loose.

Finally switching gears from all the pinups to some doodles of characters having a drink at a bar. The first one is of Brynn and Evie, who I posted other pics of not too long ago. They’re probably just letting loose on a night off--Brynn’s job as a mercenary probably has a unique set of stresses, after all. 

The second one is of Vivian (or Aiko), and her two bodyguards, Haru and Ryoba. They’re probably waiting on more important business. Either that, or even Vivian’s leisure time is pretty high security.

It was pretty fun coming up with how different characters might compose themselves here, so I might whip up more, and maybe turn one into a full-fledged illustration.

Some more characters; an organization of agents who specialize in black-ops work like assassinations and espionage. Two of them I’ve actually shown here already in their own character sheets.

The burly woman on the left of the first image with the stoneskin powers is Brynn Witticker, and on the right is January, both of whom I’ve posted and written about before. In the middle, though, is Magnolia Sinclaire, the leader of their company, Love & War. Regardless of who the current leader is, they are always named Sinclaire, and they always wear that creepy half smile mask, so sometimes even Love & War’s own staff won’t know the real identity of their leader. Currently, the leader is Magnolia, a woman who values collecting knowledge and believes in recruiting from any origin and all walks of life to find those with the highest potential. As a result, her closest agents all originate pretty far from Love & War, sometimes being former associates of rival companies, and Sinclaire for one welcomes their perspectives. 

In her own picture is Raelyn Summers, or Agent August, a master technician who fell victim to an explosive raid that took most of her limbs. She was formerly an engineer for another company, Violet Industries, until she was rescued and recruited by Love & War after nearly dying. She now employs advanced cybernetics consisting of stolen and modified Violet tech, serving as one of Sinclaire’s top agents.
