The year is coming to a close and I’d say our country has been through A LOT in the last 365 days. There have been lessons learned, lessons NOT learned, heartbreak, tragedy, more tragedy, and even MORE tragedy. It seemed like the universe wouldn’t let up. Even personally for me, it’s been very up and down. 

Although, despite all the ugliness that has happened, there have been a lot of good things that have happened as well. The boys went on tour and lit up the lives of thousands of mythical beasts around the country, people have been bravely coming out and exposing the disgusting creeps of Hollywood, there's been an amazing number of people coming together to help with every tragedy, we’re slowly exposing the government for what it is, people are rallying against hate, and I saw somewhere on Twitter that a cat gave birth under a christmas tree so that’s really great.

I’m not sure if 2018 will bring us anything better but the bar is so low, maybe we can make it a good year. Here’s to being the BEST person we can be for our friends, our family, ourselves, our country, and our world. Let’s make it count while we can.
