why is there a character named edgar allan poe in bsd dude i scroll past a post and that tag catches my eye and i scroll back up confused and nope its just a fucking character what

You'll never believe this. But. They're all authors. All the characters. Are authors. That's the entire thing of the Manga. They hold the names of the authors, and use their book titles as their power names.

There's a character named Francis Fitzgerald who's power is The Great Gatsby. I literally own the books for Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment. They're all authors. And so Edgar Allan Poe is there too.

This is why I got so into books, man LOL.
