HOLY SHIT.  I’ve been dead for a year.  Goodness.  I am sorry, honestly. But boyfriend and I have made podfic/podcast promises to actually get back to work on the projects we love but stopped doing for really no reason whatsoever.

So here we go!  Half of this chapter was done last February and the rest I did just this last week.  We are go.

And honestly, in the year, I think I figured out how to do Kiba better, which…ya know…important lol.  Here’s hoping I can get Kakashi a little more spot on in the coming…uh probably years.

Look, it’s done.  It’s been chopped up and all the bad takes and bloopers have been cut out.

I just have a final comb through to do to find any missed sections and tweak a little audio as necessary...but that will take a couple more hours that I don’t have tonight.  I’m bad at time management.  Sob.  Expect it tomorrow <3

Break to Breathe Podfic: Question About Voices

Guess who won’t have a chapter this week??  (probably)

The good news is: what I have done already (which is a good three quarters of the chapter) is pretty much edited.  I have to do my final tweaking and then bam! Done.

The bad news is: I have the last two sections to record (and subsequently edit).  I have been talking in my head voice like a lunatic for the past week because I am horribly scratchy sounding, and even then, I say anything in my normal voice for a couple seconds and I start rasping again.  Sob.  I really should get this checked out..

So fingers crossed I can get the recording done between now and tomorrow, but that’s the situation.

PS: we’re talking a quarter of the chapter left to go and we are at around an hour fifteen minutes lol.  Longest yet.  **is dead

Surprise! Delay :C

Hey guys! With a new year comes new delays for OtC. Oops...

Con happened and my voice has been shot for a couple weeks. Wtf!!

I’m gonna try and get it up like I did with November and December again.

By the 31st of January and the 15th of February for the next two chapters. And then ideally back on schedule lol

Upcoming Podfic Update

Hey guys!

Wow. Break to Breathe is done! I want to say I'll go back and rerecord some of the earlier stuff for quality purposes but that's backburner stuff.

A COUPLE UPDATES:

- I will be on a hiatus for a couple months to give myself a break...to breathe 😂 But my projected return with On The Cusp will be September 15th.

- That being said, my posting schedule will be different as well. Two weeks just wasn't enough to get those monster chapters done and keep my sanity intact. Chapters will be posted on the 15th of every month upon my return.

-I am playing around with the idea of podficcing some other works during my time off and between chapters, just for funsies.  So be prepared for random podfics that aren’t BtB to show up on my blog. That and/or possibly doing audio reading commissions for people (though the logistics of that make my head hurt and seem highly unrealistic due to the copious amounts of copyright issues I’d have to deal with)

Okay, I’m going back into my happy hiatus life for a couple months! It’s been a fun ride and we have so much more to go! In the meantime, shoot me a note or an ask if you’d like, I appreciate you all~

Final chapter and I can't be on time OTL

There's been a lot of parties due to my last day at one job and start at another and drinking is not kind to my voice (is this week's excuse lol).

Or a better one is, "omg I'm trying to prolong because I don't want it to be over!"

But for real, I'll be posting it probably next week (and when I start OtC, I'll have a more generous posting schedule for my lazy ass)
