sorry I haven’t been super active on tumblr lately. I normally have a ton of posts in my queue, but over the course of Blue Thunder going to SAN DIEGO AND KILLEN IT AT THE POINSETTIA BOWL, I seem to have run out of queued posts. But I guess it’s okay because yay lots of original posts!
so I’ve officially decided that Joe is basically my favorite person. Pretty much ever. He left directly from San Diego because his family came down to the game, and I asked him if he would snapchat me after the game. “Of course I will” he’s great. Before he left, I was changing out of my uniform and he snapchatted me “I’m leaving come find me.” Rachel is like the best wingman that I didn’t ask for. When he was leaving, she was like “Group hug!!” - for me. ANd then she says, as he walks off, “I love you, Joe!” She says that to her friends, so it wasn’t too weird. Right after she said that she looked at me and said softly, “I said that so you could, too!” I didn’t. haha. I don’t know that I love Joe, but I certainly hold a very high regard for him. And I really want to stay friends with him forever.
This Christmas was probably one of the best, if not THE BEST, Christmas ever. I didn’t get any awkward gifts I had to pretend to love, and I got a skateboard, and a pair of red shoes! I’ve been dying to have a pair of red shoes for a while. I love them a lot. once I put them on, I didn’t take them off until I got into bed.
I’m going to hangout with my friend Erin tomorrow and I’m mega excited. I saw her for about 10 minutes last Saturday, and I hadn’t seen her before that since before the semester started. She is one of my absolute best friends.
So, I guess Joe is a music minor, and that makes me very happy. It means I’ll probably be seeing him more when he really gets his music classes done.
I was thinking about why this Christmas was so great, in addition to what happened today. I think it also has to do with how much fun I’m having as a college kid. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy, and I’m so thrilled.
OKAY BUT the San Diego trip felt like 3 really really freaking long days, but it was actually 5 days. I got home on Christmas eve, and I kept thinking it was Tuesday. This morning, my mom woke me up and I was entirely convinced that it was Sunday and I needed to start getting ready for Church. I lost a few days on my trip to San Diego. It was such a good time though.
I’ll make another post entirely dedicated to the Poinsettia Bowl trip to San Diego. It’ll either be really long or just little amazing tidbits of the trip.
