MEET LAZARUS 🍷
A hopeless romantic addicted to his own melancholy.
Being the founder of Elysium, a popular vampires-only club, Lazarus is usually treated like royalty by the local vampires. He also happens to be one of Circe's past lovers.
Lazarus is one of the side characters you may meet in the upcoming demo for our supernatural romance visual novel, Burn the Midnight Oil. Coming to Kickstarter on March 23rd!

He’s currently dedicated himself to romantic abstinence until Circe takes pity on him and takes him back, buuuut assuming Circe was not in the picture… 👀
(Oh no, is this abt to be a very serious answer…?)
Short answer: Lazarus is bi, but has a strong preference for androgynous or fem-presenting people. However, no one can resist Mr Worldwide, so don’t worry about that. ;)
Long answer: Lazarus likes to feel emotions through other people. As he tends to feel very sad and lonely most of the time, he likes to be with someone who either a) also carries a deep sadness or b) has a more positive mindset that he can experience through them. He likes people who know how to appreciate art & music. His partner has to be very clingy, or he’ll drive them crazy with how much attention he demands. He loves PDA and enjoys being made to feel jealous lol, so he’d very much appreciate a partner who other people also want but can’t have.
He’s one of the vampires who doesn’t really enjoy sex anymore, but he’s able to enjoy it vicariously. Basically, he enjoys watching his partner have fun or doing things for them, but he’s only sometimes in the mood for them to return the favor.
Laz is also a bit of a vampire supremacist (😭) and doesn’t spend much time around anyone who isn’t a vamp, but he will flirt with the occasional witch or wizard.
hiya! are there any other characters with tattoos? i noticed dantes at the beginning of the game and thought they were cool do they have a meaning to him or is it just something he got bc it was cool
Dante's doesn't have any particular meaning, just him thinking it's cool :p
Lazarus has tattoos (the roses are for Circe). It's not the first set of tattoos he's had though.
There may or may not be other side characters with tattoos, but you'll have to wait and see. None of our other main characters have a tattoo though. :)

Maybe words of affirmation (giving), but receiving is anybody's guess. Lazarus kind of likes one person for a century, and once he's decided on someone, they can do whatever they want and he'll still like them.
Will we get to learn more about lazzy and Circes past in her route? He’s my favorite and I’d love to get to learn more about his past and why he’s the way he is
You’ll definitely get to know more, though it depends on the route ^^
