Big Time Rush Ocs
Soft launching a new masterlists layout. Also no summaries bc I'm realizing some of my ocs I might or might not write actual full length story for ( which Is okay because this is the year for holding boundaries with ourselves) so I'm taking a page from my lovely friend @arrows-unofficial-ocs and putting lil bullet lists at the bottom. ( Some might have summaries as well because I had already wrote them or because they came with the oc )

About/Summary: Kelly's younger sister. They have good parents but when Kelly offered her a way to finish highschool while in a luxury hotel filled with teen stars it wasn't even a question. Loves her life at the Palm Woods and loves her sister but finds her stifling now that she's in charge of her ( and because Kelly's handling of Gustavo's...everything, she's fairly high strung about structure ) Constantly caught between bucking against her sisters rules and schedules and doing her best. Always very put together. Then the boys come to the Palm Woods. Ship tbd.

About/Summary: Plays forward for btrs hockey team and part of their group. Grew up with them despite being a year younger ( and hates being reminded of it thanks.) Asks Kendall to take him with him even though he's not part of their singing group either because "we can't exactly do a winning season without four of our best players" or because he has other reasons to leave but Kendall is very much unable to say no to him and they take him. Aroace bean and romance repelled. Possibly qpp with the btr boys or aplatonic.

About/Summary: Best friends and on the team with the btr boys ( the fifth to their group) Plays left wing. As long as James has been wanting to be famous, he's wanted the same thing but for his own music. Auditions when Roque records comes to Duluth and when the others talk Kendall into signing he talks his way into being a packaged deal with them.
Absolute adudh disaster of a boy if one of the others is thinking of something dumb to do trust and believe he's already halfway out the door on the way to do it. Used to talking his way out of trouble and getting away with it too. Gustavo regrets taking him almost immediately but Kendall and the others are too loyal to let him get cut from the deal ( Kendalls mom Is able to bring him to heel low-key so are Kendall and Logan...sometimes.) absolutely dedicated to his passions and his people. Flirts with everything but arospec. Future poly qpp ( with very blurry lines in what's platonic and not ) with BTR.

About/Summary: Eldest Shmidt sibling. Close to her mom and siblings but does have a life outside of them. Unafraid of Gustavo because she's handled a house full of teenager hockey players on both winning and losing streaks and wrangled the BTR boys since they were five. Very aware of everything her brother does very encouraging of him and btr being chaotic. Probably the reason Katie's terrifying tbh. Very conflicted about being dragged from MIN to CA away from her friends and pretty much every thing she knows but trying to make the best of it ( very annoyed at how many palm trees there are and the lack of opportunities for cold weather fashion.)

Middle Shmidt Sister ( younger than Kendall but older than Katie)
Wallflower to Kendall's outgoing sibling.
Tends to keep to herself and her family ( which very much includes the BTR boys.)

Musically talented like her brother and just as in denial. Might start a band of her own in California.
Low-key half exists because of @littlebvtterfly 's Soyara Patel or at least that's what made me pick her fc.

About/Summary: Gustavo's niece ( tbd what happened to her parents but leaning towards death) He adopted her when she was a toddler. Raised by him and Kelly ( the actual second after Gustavo adopted her he panicked and screamed from Kelly at a pitch that only dogs could hear lmao) Gustavo is Very Much her dad in every way that matters tho as far as either of them is concerned. Though he's not a soft man by any stretch of the imagination he does dote on her. Thinks the boys giving him ulcers is hilarious and that they're the best thing to come to the Palm Woods. Tbd if she's learning about talent management or has another interest in mind but very much keeps to herself and Kelly and Gustavo and then gets dragged in because the boys decide she needs to get dragged into their chaos and who can fight that really.

About/Summary: Daughter of either writers or producers who put all their time and energy into their demanding jobs and none into their children. Lives at the Palm Woods but hardly participates in all the teen partying, possibly the most serious and parentified teen there. She's raising her siblings more or less and sees how good Carlos is with them and is just a goner for someone who seems to give her siblings one eight the care and affection she wishes her parents would give them.

About/Summary: Second Macallister sibling. Baby type A who constantly tries to act put together because despite her sister's best efforts she Subconciously thinks it'll get their parents to actually be there. Neurodivergent and suffering( TM). Attachment issues af because outside her siblings no one really stays around. Incredibly close to her siblings. Tries to act more grown up than Candem despite only having a year and months on him but can actually be very easily convinced to go along with whatever chaos he wants.

Face Claim: Hayden Byerly
About/Summary: Third and youngest Macallister sibling. Introvert skater kiddo but gets bored easily. Grew up exploring The Palm Woods and being friends with the younger kids who stay there ( even if he's learned they come and go as new contracts and life takes them somewhere else) sees his sister as his only parent and loves her but still affected by their parents neglect tho in a more subtle way than his sisters. Gets adopted by the btr boys along his sister but fast. Literally met Carlos because he was trying and "don't try at home" skateboard stunt and Carlos' response was "you should wear a helmet. And also I wanna try next"
