↱↱↱A/n: I’m still new to writing werewolf things as it’s not something I ever saw myself writing but hope this turned out for you, I tried to keep it as different from my other JK wolf fic :)

Jungkook knew the moment you walked past him one day in the hall, he could smell you instantly and the way you opened up his sight to everything almost set it in stone that you were his mate. Your scent was intoxicating to him and he knew from the moment it hit his nose you were the one for him, but when he watched you it was as if you had no idea he even existed when he asked around about you his pack told him you were a new wolf and had no idea about how anything worked. He was worried about you but kept his distance not wanting to scare you about anything about your new life, it was scary for him and he was born into the life. You were bitten meaning you probably had no idea about anything about it all, which was made clear to him when he followed you into the library one day and found you trying to read mythology books about your kind. 

"It's no good, they're old and miss a lot of facts on us." Your eyes widened when you heard someone talking to you and you dropped the book on the floor.

"Us?" You stuttered not knowing if he was being genuine or if he was just trying to joke about it, 

"Werewolves." He whispered in your ear, it was just an excuse to get closer to you to smell your scent once again but he resisted the urge he had to kiss you and ravish you right in the library but he had to hold back. 

"Y-You're one too?" He nodded and stared into your eyes, your eyes were wide with fear as you thought you were the only one on campus. 

"Have you changed yet?" He whispered feeling protective over you, you nodded and shuddered at the thought. Remember how it felt when you changed on the first full moon, your bones breaking one by one and then the killing of animals just because you were a wolf. 

"Yeah." You whispered looking at him and he nodded going on to explain you would learn how to control it eventually and could learn to change whenever you wanted.

"I'll teach you everything I know-"

"I don't even know who you are...how do I know you're not the one that changed me?" You questioned looking at him as he stared back down at you. 

"Because I wouldn't wish this life upon anyone, come on." 

That was months ago and now you were close friends, Jungkook had neglected to mention mates to you deciding it would be better for you to find out in your own time that you were his mate. He didn't want you to think he was just pressuring you into being with him it's not what he wanted at all. 

"Get away from me." You groaned as someone pushed you against the locker in the college hallway, Jungkook looked away from Jimin who was talking to him and saw you struggling to move past three jocks who kept pushing you. 

"You've been flirting with me all morning and now you reject me!?" He yelled slamming your back against the locket, Jungkook growled at the sight and thought of you flirting with someone that wasn't him and he was going to walk over when he saw you push the jock onto the floor. 

"Leave me alone!" You growled at him but it earnt a bunch of laughter from the boys surrounding you, but it only got worse because one behind you grabbed you by the hair and slammed your face against the locker. The next thing you knew he was on the floor and Jungkook was pulling you in the direction of the library, 

"You alright?!" He rushed to look at you, cupping your face in his hands and turning your head around to make sure they hadn't hurt you. His alpha instincts were kicking in and he was going into protective mode wanting nothing more than to go back into the hall and rip their heads off.

"Say something to keep me distracted." He mumbled holding onto your face and you stared up at him, looking deep into his eyes they were flashing red which meant he was trying to stop himself from changing in the middle of the library. 

"Take me home to my dorm...We'll get some food and movies and chill out Jungkook." He nodded and you took his hand in yours pulling him through the halls, 

"Look at the slut! Taking the bitch boy home to fuck instead!" You ignored their comments continuing to pull Jungkook through the halls and out to where your car was parked, 

"Were you really flirting with him?" You looked down at your hands as you got into the car, Jungkook watched you from the passenger seat and took a deep breath in, he could smell that you were in heat which gave you a reason to be flirting with everyone but he couldn't help but feel jealous about it. 

"I-I don't know what's wrong with me...I've never felt this way before." You whispered gripping onto the steering wheel and rubbing your thighs together, your eyes glancing at Jungkook as he nervously stared forward as you drove.

"Like what?" He questioned wanting to make sure you were talking about what he thought you were talking about, 

"I want to fuck everyone I see b-but none of them will satisfy me...Only one will." He glanced at you as you continued to drive and he saw a layby coming up, 

"Pull up." You nodded and did it without questioning what he was getting at, you switched off the engine and he was facing you. 

"Do you know who will..." You nodded slowly and looked up into his eyes, he was closer to you now as he was leaning across the gearstick to get a better smell of you. 

"You." You whispered looking down at his lips and he smirked knowing you were in heat and he would love nothing more than to take you but you weren't aware of anything yet, 

"You're just in heat. It'll pass in 5-14 days depending on you." You stared at him and whined wanting him to take you, your hands reached up to cup his face and he looked at you,

"There's something you don't know..." He started, he had no idea how to bring it up and being bold and open was his only option right now.

"What?" You whispered running your fingers over his soft skin and he almost let out a whine at the smallest of touches from you he'd been dreaming of you for months. 

"You're my mate." He said to you looking at you as you processed what that meant. 

"Is that why I have a strong attraction to you and only you?" He nodded and you leant up to kiss him but he pulled away, 

"You're just in heat, you don't mean this-" You kissed him again grabbing his face and pulling him closer to you,

"I mean everything, since the day I met you I've wanted you Jungkook...Take me," Those were the only words he needed to hear and he began kissing you roughly in the car.

"Jungkook!" You whined as he pulled you through the hallway of his dorms, he'd made you drive back to his place after making out in the car and getting you riled up,

"Just a little further, there's no way I'm fucking you in a car." He growled finding his dorm room and pulling you inside. He slammed and locked the door not wanting any of his roommates to come in when they weren't welcome and as soon as the door was shut you pushed him against it making out with him just as roughly as you did the first time, 

"Fuck you smell amazing." He groaned bending down and picking you up, he walked you towards the bedroom and dropped you on his bed continuing the heated makeout session his hands travelling all over your body, not knowing which part he wanted more. He just loved that he was finally getting to kiss you and you were kissing him back, 

"Jungkook I need you." You moaned out as his hands began rubbing your throbbing clit in small circles through the fabric of your jeans, he practically ripped the jeans off your body after you told him you needed him and they were thrown somewhere in the room.

Chapter 3: Married

Kim Seokjin x Reader

You had been married to the best doctor that had ever existed in your opinion at least, well to you he was a doctor but to the public he was a veterinarian. It was a short story how you ended up being married to a guy who was already married to his job. His alpha had made a deal with yours and suddenly you had been ‘sold’ to the most feared alpha in the wolf community, and had been passed on to his Beta Kim Seokjin. At first you weren’t against it, actually you had been okay with it not the forced marriage part but the switching packs part weren’t the worst thing you had ever experienced. You had been married to Seokjin for 5 months and you had only been used as a relief for his sexual needs every Thursday since then, the only day he was home for more than 1 hour not counting his 6 hours of sleep every night, you didn’t know the man you slept next to and to him it seemed like no big deal but you were growing tired of just being an object of relief to him. You stood there looking yourself in the mirror, fixing the one strand of hair which was still messed up from the 17 minutes of sex with your ‘mate’ if you could even call it that. It must have sparked something within Jin to see you stare at yourself for a long amount of time, so much he decided to speak to you about something that was sex or sleep. “There’s a knot in you’re the back of your head, remember to get that” okay so it wasn’t exactly what you wished he had said, but it was something, you studied as he got up from the bed and put on his uniform with no hesitation and went to head out the door. “Remember to be in bed by 11, it’s boys night and you can’t interrupt again” with that he walked out. Okay, so you had walked in on their boys night one time, only one time, which was them sitting watching movies and eating some food, but you had figured this made sense as they all had their mates and possibly needed time off from girly things, but you had never understood what it would hurt you going to get a glass of water.

 At exactly 11 pm, you were lying in your bed but something just told you to get up, for some reason you felt sad and regretted not running away before getting married to a guy who seemed so kind but was very much not so to you. You debated with yourself for an hour or so before actually getting out of bed risking Jin hearing the movement in the bedroom, and into your wedding dress just to entertain yourself as you couldn’t sleep anyway, you only got to wear it for 30 minutes on your wedding day seeing as it was a rushed ceremony and a part of you thought it would be funny to see if you had gained or lost weight, it seemed like a weird thing to wonder but you were late and frankly you had been avoiding telling Jin that you were possibly pregnant, not only that but if you were pregnant it would mean that when Jin found his actual mate you would be left alone with a baby, it wasn’t that you didn’t think of Jin to be your actual mate because you did your wolf loved him from the moment you saw him it was just the human in you which fought it as you were sure he didn’t feel the same as he treated you like shit to be frank. You moved yourself to the mirror, sighing deeply as you made eye contact with the sad and broken girl in the reflection. She had her hair down, still the same knot in her hair as earlier and the saddest eyes she had ever seen. You managed to break your eyes form the mirror after a few minutes, you didn’t care anymore you had to get out of this fucking house, it was like being in prison only you didn’t have one single person to talk to, you felt isolated and it was driving you insane. You didn’t bother undressing, you jumped out from the first floor, landing elegantly on the dry grass and you started running as if your life depended on it. Once you had gotten far enough from the house you let yourself inhale deeply, and exhale repeatedly before instinctively placing a palm on your stomach, not even worrying about the white dress being in the middle of the woods. Once you had calmed yourself you suddenly felt as if you were being watched and by looking up, meeting the eyes of your pissed off husband you had good reason to feel stared at. “What the hell do you think you are doing?!” He moved closer to you, with each movement he made to come closer, you moved further away until your back met the barrier of the cool bark on the tree. You were about to defend yourself but that wasn’t possible as Jin slammed his hand on the tree, only inches from your face, “YOU ARE MINE, SO YOU DO AS I TELL YOU!” 

He stared at you for a good thirty seconds, those thirty seconds being spend on him breathing heavy looking intimidating and you fighting the anger which had almost boiled over. Once again as you were about to defend yourself you were interrupted by his lips smacking onto yours, his hands moving to your hips, aggressively forcing his pelvis closer to yours, you were into it for a hot minute seeing as you did find him incredibly handsome and well you had for some reason grown to love him as the asshole he pretended to be towards you, but you didn’t give in, the wolf in you didn’t let it happen there was a baby to protect and husband or not, it was more important to protect than your marriage. The next 12 minutes were a blur of two gigantic wolves fighting, you continuously having the upper hand until Jin made a move to bite your mouth, and with the correct knowledge of how much force there should be used he could break your jaw into pieces. It would have happened, if it wasn’t for a strange wolf appearing out of nowhere his howl was deep impressive for an omega, both you and Jin could smell he wasn’t in a pack which made it weirder to interrupt a fight between two strangers. You were the first to change back, Jin seconds after, the strange wolf before you didn’t change but a black haired, young guy came out from behind the tree at first he didn’t say anything causing Jin to move into a protective stance in front of you staring both of the new wolves down. “Don’t worry, Taehyung will turn back, I’m Jungkook.” He threw two blankets at you, Jin catching them both, immediately wrapping the one around you before covering himself up. “I heard from miles away that you were fighting, and I can’t control my shifts yet, so Taehyung here saved you from killing two people” He motioned at Jin, making it clear that the killing two people were directed at him and not you, “two?” Jin choked out a laugh of amusement, “only one of us would die but I wanted to teach her a lesson, I wouldn’t kill my mate.” When he said that you were sure you had died, mate? He had never said that word before, maybe you were?

Taehyung presumably, according to the Jungkook guy that sure was his name, coughed as he had changed back not bothering covering himself up. “Well maybe you should learn to care for your mate, and accept shes there because my friend and I could hear miles away she was pregnant, and her smell is different too.” You looked to Jin to see a reaction, but there wasn’t anything visibly different from before but luckily having picked up on habits, you noticed how his right arm tensed up the slightest bit, as it usually did when he was about to lose his shit. “Jin, they are right I didn’t tell you but, they are right, that’s why I’m so fucking frustrated that you treat me like trash, some whore you don’t have to pay.” You sighed starting to walk away, but Jin was too quick, he grabbed your wrist twirling you around. He looked at you for 4 seconds before swifting his hand to hint for the youngsters to leave and by miracle they did. He sighed before turning his attention back to you. “I am sorry. I have a hard time accepting love, or getting commands even from Namjoon so I pushed you away” He looked at the wrist he had grabbed painfully hard before loosening his grip, surprised you hadn’t told him off yet, and just stood there with big puppy eyes waiting for his next sentence. “I am falling in love with you Y/N, but please accept it will take some time, I will change for you and the baby.”

BTS Reaction: Being Possessive

Anon - Reaction to seeing a burn from your straightener or curling iron and thinking it’s a hickey from another wolf and getting angry/ possessive 

Namjoon

As soon as namjoon saw the mark his expression would darken, “who did this to you y/n? answer me! what have you been up to behind my back..” he would grab your face and tilt it to inspect the ‘hickey’ all the  while growling lowly. If namjoon gave you a chance to explain that you were just trying to straighten your hair he would soften his grip on you. “I’m sorry y/n I shouldn't rush to conclusions like that, I just don’t want to lose you”

Seokjin

He would notice the reddening mark as soon as you opened the bathroom door “I hope that isn’t what I think it is y/n...” He would start trying to see if he could smell any other wolf on you. When he couldn’t find any other scent but the one he left on you he would frown. “did I do that..? I don’t recall doing anything last night.”

Yoongi

Yoongi would try not to show how angry he was. “Where is he?” When you frowned in confusion he would clarify “you know who I’m talking about, the unworthy bastard who touched you” “you belong to me and only me y/n” When he found out it was a burn from trying to do your hair he would frown “Be more careful next time, I don’t want you to get hurt”

Hoseok

Hoseok would be the one to actually ask what happened before rushing to any kind of conclusions. In the back of his mind he would still be worried whether of not you were sneaking around. “are you sure it’s just a burn?” After assuring him it was he would pull you in for a hug “Never make me worry like that again y/n, I don’t ever want to loose you”

Jimin

Jimin would always be self consious so as soon as he saw the ‘hickey’ he would snap “Am I not good enough for you y/n?! What did I do wrong for you to go sneak around with some lowlife?” Once the situation was explained he would apologize over and over. “I shouldn’t have doubted you y/n, please forgive me if you can”  

Taehyung

“y/n! come stand closer... what the hell is that?!” if you tried to cover the mark with your hands he would grab both of them tightly and growl in your ear. “You have a lot of explaining to do missy or do I have to remind you who you belong to? hmm...”

Jungkook

Jungkook wouldn’t know how to approach you about it, instead he would just glare at the red mark until you noticed. When you asked what he was looking at he would drop his gaze “I can’t believe this. You belong to me. Nobody else can touch you. And if they do, they won’t be breathing for much longer...”

I Am An Alpha Ch 22: Bonding Time

I have a blanket wrapped around me by the time Kris and the others bust in their eyes are glowing red, chest heaving, the usual entrance they have been making the whole time I’ve been here. I smile awkwardly but the Tao doesn’t take their intrusion as nicely, he jumps in front of me shielding me from their view, and in his mind, possible attack.

“Get out!” The young alpha roars at his brothers.

“What the hell do you think you are doing using her like that? You are not clear minded enough to be anywhere near her!” Kris snarls.

“Hyung, wait, I said it was alright!” I stammer out.

Kris’s eyes shift to me, “And what were you thinking? He could have hurt you!”

“But he didn’t!”

“But he could have! You don’t know what you are getting yourself into when an alpha goes into rut around his mate.”

“And you do?” Jin sasses as he joins us in the room, easily swaggering pass my mates to stand in between them and Tao.

“This is none of your business,” Luhan quips.

Jin rolls his eyes, “First off, fuck you, yes it is, Insoo is my business with or without mates. Secondly, I’m so fucking tired of you guys freaking out about every little thing! How many times have you guys done this in the few days you have known her? She helped her mate out during his rut, what is the problem?”

“He shouldn’t have just run off with her like that! He could have done something to her!” Suho points out.

“And she would have murdered him for trying anymore than she was comfortable with. Plus I doubt he would have hurt her, I know we told you that she has problems but you don’t have to be afraid of breaking her, she is broken, no if ands or buts about it. So stop with this bullshit, I’m tired of it!”

Everyone just stares kind of dumbstruck for a moment, eyes wide at the fact he just said all of that without a second thought, but as I process his words I imagine Jin preparing this for the last couple days, already upset then. When no one says anything Jin straightens his shoulders an bit more, “Alright than, everyone out, lets leave these kids alone, he won fair and square.” To my surprise my mates obey without much of a fight, they just stare down at the their bare feet ashamed of themselves. Jin gives me an exhausted look as he follows behind them.

“Hyung wait!” Tao calls out, Jin freezes in the doorway and hesitates turning around for a moment, confused on whether or not he was the one the tall boy was actually calling for. “Jin hyung,” Tao specifies awkwardly.

Jin and I share a wide eyed look before he comes back in and raises a brow, “Yes?”

“Thank you,” Tao stammers out. “I don’t think I could have handled it if they had taken her away from me.” Tao’s arm snakes around my shoulders and tucks me into his side.

“Ah, you’re welcome? I was just trying to keep blood from being spilled. You two just have fun, alright?” Jin responds just as awkwardly.

“Actually would you want to stay for awhile?”

“You two seem busy, we should-”

“I feel clear headed, my ruts are never that bad and I think I could get through a few hours before I go a bit crazy again.”

“And what are you insinuating that we do?”

“I was hoping we could all have dinner, like Soo wanted.”

Jin visibly cringes at the idea, “I don’t know about that kid. Everyone seems to be on edge.”

Tao takes a deep breath and takes a step forward, his hand holding mine, “Please. I realize that Insoo is willing to deal with so much from us that the least we could do is pull our head out of our asses and have a meal together for her.”

I give Tao a smile but he is still watching Jin with surprisingly pleading eyes. I look over at Jin with my brows raised, sending him a mental message, are you really going to say no to that face?

Jin growls, “Okay fine!”

“Really?” The younger man beams from Jin to me, I return his happy smile that just warms my heart.

“Yes, but you two need to shower first. I suggest having her wear your things to ease your wolf, he will rest easy if she smells like you.”

Tao nods eagerly, “Thank you Hyung!”

Jin shivers, “That sounds so weird coming from you.”

“I’m assuming you are older?”

“And you are right, but we aren’t familiar with each other yet.”

“Yet,” Tao repeats, “But we are a pack.”

Jin rolls his eyes and clicks his tongue as he turns and leaves, “I’ll let the rest know we are staying for dinner I guess.”

“This is a horrible idea,” Jin tells me as we try our best to organize enough plates on the long table. After our shower Tao and I came down to find the most awkward stand off I’ve ever seen. My pack is on one side of the living room, my mates on the other, just staring each other down, not trying to be hostile but not being friendly either, just awkward. I dispersed jobs to everyone to keep the stand off from occurring again. Each of my pack members grab something to set the table while my mates huddle in the kitchen and pretty much watch Kyungsoo cook.

“I know it isn’t the best but Tao is right, you guys need to spend some time together.”

“We asked for pack time,” He informs.

“We will have pack time tonight, after a good family dinner. That way we all win!”

He groans, “Lucky for you, I’m starving.”

“Thank you Hyung,” I hug the tall man tightly.

“What exactly are you thanking him for?” Namjoon hums as he comes into the dinning room with a bowl of food in his hands. The rest of my pack trails in behind him carrying more.

“For not being difficult, like I expect the rest of you to be,” I look pass Joonie to the youngest three.

“You have nothing to worry about Soo,” Yoongi reassures me, “We don’t want to start any kind of drama with the black dragons and our Insoo’s mates, would we boys?” He joins me in glaring the younger boys down.

The three nod.

“Great!” Joon beams at them, but keeps his red eyes gleaming at them.

“Okay, now everyone,” Kris comes into the room, placing the first of many massive chunks of beef on the table, “Lets sit down.” Everyone joins us in the room, Kris settles in his spot at the end of the table while the others try to adjust to their changed spots. I’m in my same spot at before except Tao squeezed in between Kris and I, with Jin is on my other side, the rest of my pack follows with Namjoon at the end next to Suho; the only two people who could stand sitting next to each other. Kris carves the meat, we pass until each plate had decent sized piece of meat on it, after that everyone starts reaching for sides, passing them down for others to get some, it’s surprisingly calm.

“Soo,” Kris hums at the head of the table, all eyes shift to him, “Would it be alright if we ask you a few more questions about yourself and your pack?”

Without question I nod.

“Good,” Luhan sets down his chopsticks and leans eagerly across the table, “I have questions.”

“Go a head and ask whatever you like.”

“Okay, so how did this pack form when you were in the military?”

I look down to Namjoon and Yoongi who are the farthest away, “That is for the older ones to answer, if they want.”

Joonie chuckles, “I have no issue answering questions as long as we can come back with our own.”

Minseok hums, “That sounds fair.”

“Well it was just instinct on most of it. Almost like what I imagine it feels like to find your mate but less intense, it’s just a knowing feeling in the back of your mind. Jin hyung found Yoongi hyung and I within a few years of each other and took care of us until we came of age, teaching us the ways of the military, and discovered that I was meant to be a head alpha. After that everything just fell in place, we found Hoseok and Insoo within a month, that wasn’t as easy as Jin hyung dealing with us. It took us a few months to warm up to her and accept her as an actual pack member, especially with an alpha the same age as her. But after that we were family.”

I nod, “It’s a similar feeling, like I when I found Jungkook, even in a life threatening situation I couldn’t leave him behind regardless of how my military instincts told me to.”

They nod in understanding.

“Can you tell us about your family?” Jongdae wonders across the table.

“Oh god, I haven’t thought about them in forever,” I hum the imagines in my head from long ago are hazy. “Lets see, I had three older brothers, Myungsoo, Kwangsoo, and of course, my oldest brother, Insoo. They were all older alphas, stronger, faster, better at every single thing and reminded me of it everyday, at least Myungsoo and Kwangsoo did. My father was the head alpha of our village, he was brave and strong and the greatest leader I had ever seen. Than there is my mother, she wasn’t the greatest mother in the world but she was a great leader as well.”

They all stare at me a moment, as if dumbstruck, “I feel so stupid for not even thinking of that before.” Yixing mumbles to himself mostly.

“What?” I hum as I eat a few more bites.

“Your name…” Jongdae answers.

“My name? My name is Insoo.”

“I think they are talking about before you became Insoo,” Yoongi points out.

“Oh! They did an attendance list for when new soldiers were brought back, there weren’t many young alphas in my village, at least none that were young enough to submit and join the army. So I was the only one and since no one was there to question me I became my brother.”

“So what is your name?” Kyungsoo asks, “Your real name?”

“I told you, I’m Insoo. That little omega from before doesn’t exist. She didn’t exist before the raid and she doesn’t exist now,” There is a warning behind my tone. I shift uncomfortably in my seat as my wolf begins to feel on edge with my growing anxiety. Tao’s wolf snarls softly, it’s actually more like a purring, pulling me closer to him in an attempt to calm me.

“I’m sorry little wolf,” The wide eyed man quickly apologizes, “I didn’t mean to upset you, I thought it would be okay if I asked.”

I take a deep breath and smile slightly, “It’s okay Hyung, it’s just a touchy subject for me. I don’t like that name, I’m not that person anymore and haven’t been for a long time. I want to leave it in the past, okay?”

“Of course, again I’m sorry.”

“Well this took a sad turn,” Jin sips his drink next to me.

“We are trying to get to know each other,” Baekhyun reminds him, “None of our past are pretty to I didn’t really imagine this conversation being very bright and exciting.”

“Well,” Jin hops to his feet, “it may not have to be bright but who says it can’t be exciting. You wolves must have some kind of alcohol around here, right?”

“I mean we have some bottles, what for?” Kris questions.

“For Never Have I Ever of course! I hear it’s really popular among younger humans. They grab a few drinks and go around in a circle saying things you haven’t done and if you have done them you have to drink!”

Luhan scoffs, “You have got to be kidding me, you want to play a childish game like that?”

I snicker, “I think it sounds fun! Much better than sitting here and getting depressed. Come on!” I pull Tao out of his seat and into the living room. My pack follows, all except for Jin who seems to be on a mission for booze.

“You have been in the forest for 100 years, never seen a TV, never ridden in a car, yet you know about drinking?” Minseok chuckles.

“Of course!” Jin busts back into the room with his arms full of different bottles, “We aren’t complete shut ins.”

“So everyone sit down!” I command to the massive group of alphas, of course all of them obey. I sit down in between Tao and Kookie while Jin passes out drinks with the help of Jongdae.

“So I explained the rules but does anyone have any questions?” Jin raises his brows as he sips his drink. I receive my disgusting smelling beverage with a terrible taste but the warm feeling I get when it lands in my stomach is worth it.

“Are we just supposed to say random things or are we asking meaningful questions?” Tao wonders.

“Absolutely anything!” Jin answers with a surprising amount of glee. “Nothing is out of bounds, so you kid,” He points to Jongin, “You can go first, I know you aren’t one to hold back when it comes to us. Give us your best go.”

The tan man stares Jin down but the older man doesn’t budge, for a second his eyes shift to me, hesitation obvious on his face.

I smile encouragingly, “Don’t worry Hyung, I have thick skin, it’s just a game.”

He sighs, “Are you sure?”

I nod.

“Fine, never have I ever killed my parents.”

My pack and I take a drink, “That is what I’m talking about but lets try things we don’t really know about each other. I’ll go next, never have I ever gone to school.”

My mates and Jungkook take a drink.

“Never have I ever attacked someone in this room,” Yoongi teases with his eyes on Kris who glares daggers as he sips.

“Never have I ever used a sword,” Sehun gets not just my pack be a few of his brothers with that one. We go on and on, pouring more drinks as time goes on and for once things don’t really feel forced between us all. The game flows nicely, going from jabs at certain to people to something as general as eating a specific kind of food, it’s actually kind of funny. I see my mates smile at something my pack members say is truly a sight to behold. My chest feels so light in this moment. For these few hours I feel like I’m on top of the world and nothing can hurt me right now. Not with my mates and my pack finally getting along, laughing in the same room, even a small smile on every face.

I’m smiling down at my cup, enjoying Tao’s warmth when someone destroys that moment. The atmosphere shifts as soon as the words are out of Sehun’s mouth, though I know it is supposed to be a jab at Kris it misses and heads straight for another. “Never have I ever marked my mate.”

Kris does as he is supposed to and raises the bottom of his drink, finishing it with a satisfied sigh and a smile on his face. But what my mates weren’t expecting was Jin raising his as well. Finishing his half full glass in one gulp, pulling away with a somber expression that has me rushing towards him my heart sinking as the sadness flashes briefly on his face, “Hyung-“

He slams his glass down on the wood before looking up at me, obviously drunk and now upset, “It’s okay Soo,” He coos. He jumps to his feet. “Tonight has been fun but I think it’s time we end it here.”

Sehun stands up and comes to stand behind me, “Did I say something wrong?” He genially seems concerned for what he could have done.

“No kid you did good. I’m just ready for bed, come on you guys. Let’s leave Soo to her mates, we have been bugging them enough,” Jin basically drags the others out of the house and into the snow. He honestly tries to make a run for it but I catch his arm in the middle of the field and spin him around.

“Hyung.”

“Insoo,” He warns.

I let go of his arm and stare up at him with big eyes, “I’m sorry he said that, he didn’t mean any harm.”

“I know, he did nothing wrong, you have no reason to apologize.”

“I do, you are upset and I feel responsible.”

He shakes his head, “Go inside Soo, your mates are in there waiting.”

“No!” I snap back, “I am not going anywhere until I know you are okay. I was there Hyung, I know you are hurt still there is no reason to be ashamed by what you feel. Most wolves can’t survive what you have been through.”

“You are right, it does hurt, so I would prefer not to think about it,” He snarls, Jin actually snarls at me. Behind me my mates let out a snarl of their own.

“I’m not going to make you think about it, I just want you to know that if you need to talk about it I’m still here, just like I always have been. This time since I have mates I could maybe just slightly begin to understand what you are going through.”

He sighs, cupping my face gently his thumbs draw small circles on my cheeks, “I hope you never have to go through what I went through. If you ever do,” His eyes shift to my mates, “There will be hell to pay.”

The Omega’s Secret

Chapter 6

           “Kim Namjoon! You and your…. stupid… long… LEGS,” you huffed at the boy who was hiking on the trail a significant distance ahead of you. You were tired, your calves felt like they were on fire, your back was starting to ache, and you knew that if you didn’t get out of the sun, you’d have a face as red as a tomato when school started back up again. And bringing attention to yourself in your 3rd year of high school was not something you wanted. Especially when you had spent most of your 2nd year trying and succeeding in making yourself invisible.

          This was supposed to be fun. In fact, if you remembered correctly Namjoon’s exact words were “Come on, let’s go for a hike. It’ll be fun!” But this was not fun, it stopped being fun at least a mile back and you were hot and sweaty and felt icky. As you walked the trail a little bit more you saw an overhang of rocks that made a make-shift shallow cave and you quickly perched yourself under it, thankful to get the sun rays off your face.

          “What are you doin’ slow-poke?” Namjoon said as his head dropped into your sight. He was laying on top of the overhang which made his currently green hair fall due to gravity. Why your friend had an obsession with weird colored hair you would never know, but even though he was the son of your dad’s friend, he was in one of the socially higher ranked families in the pack; so he could afford it and his parents pretty much let him do what he wanted.

          “Resting ‘Mr. Long Legs’,” you giggled as you slid down on your butt. “If that’s ok with you, your highness.”

          “Fine,” he sighed. He jumped down from the rock and stumbled as he hit the ground causing you to burst out laughing.

          Namjoon had always tried to seem impressive but truthfully he was just a klutz. Since meeting him, you were always afraid he would break something (or someone else to be more precise) but lately his clumsiness was kept just to himself. After wiggling around to keep from falling face first on the forest floor, he looked up and strode over to you and it was moments like these where you wondered which side was the real Namjoon. The Namjoon that changed his hair color more than he changed clothes or the Namjoon that strode up to you with this dark look in his eye like you were some sort of prey he was ready to hunt and kill.

          “Joonie stop looking at me like that, you know it freaks me out,” you said as you stood up and retreated backwards to fall against the wall of the cave. He didn’t listen to your plea as he rushed forward and pinned you against the wall. “Get off! Are you out of your mind?!”

          “You’re birthday is in less than a month,” he said as he brought his hand to your face. You suddenly felt his other hand graze your hips and move past your butt down to your thigh.

          “Watch where you’re putting your hands Kim Namjoon,” you warned as you tried to move his hand. He did move it only to grab both of your hands in one of his own and slam them above your head. You stared at him incredulously. You usually knew what he was up to but he was acting weird now, almost as if he was possessed or something.

          “Everyone thinks you’re going to be an alpha,” he mumbled as he looked down at you. He always had a height advantage over you but now it made him seem like a giant and you felt like an ant. “But everyone thinks I’m going to be an alpha too, so I’ve been thinking,” he smirked as he put his free hand back down to your thigh. “I’ve heard that people are expected to be one status but they get claimed and they change.”

          “What are you talking about?! Get the FUCK OFF!” You screamed as you tied to pry your hands out of his grasp but it was no use.

          “Mating, Miyeon. That’s what I’m talking about. God, I’ve always wondered what mating you would feel like,” he said as he ran his nose down the side of your neck and grazed his teeth on your shoulder.

          “I don’t like you like that, so forget it,” you grunted. You thought about bringing your knee up to kick him in the groin but he pressed his hips between your legs before you could follow through with your decision.

          “It doesn’t matter if you do or not,” he whispered as he licked his lips. “It’s not like you’re in a position to argue with me. Mating is mating. Whether a person is forced or accepts their fate.” You felt the wind get knocked out of you when he suddenly grabbed your neck with the hand holding your wrists and ripped your shirt in half with the other single handedly.

          “Stop… I don’t love you… You can’t do this… it’s against our law…” the words you spoke were barely whispers due to the pressure on your throat.

          “Who cares about law when I have force? Besides they can’t kill me. You’d be in danger if they did~,” he sneered. He licked from your ear down to the bottom of your neck and you could feel his teeth glide over the area where you had dreamed someone you loved with all of your heart would one day bite.

          You could feel yourself trembling and his hand started to caress the inside of your thighs. When you felt his teeth graze the area you closed your eyes and tried to take deep breath to scream again, however it only came out as a sob. You whimpered when all of the sudden you felt nothing. No teeth, no disgusting touches, nothing. What you did hear though was a growl the sound of swift air moving and specifically the sound of an impact and bones cracking.

          “Namjoon, don’t threaten her,” Seokjin warned.

          Snapped out of your memories that had rushed in without you noticing, you heard Namjoon growl and saw his eyes were turning red.

          “Move Jin, just let me get a couple of good scratches in!” Namjoon grunted as he jumped up and tried to pounce you, but in a split second he was back on the ground with Seokjin’s hand on his chest.

          Just try it, you mouthed. Your voice was still unable to make sound except for yelps, whines, and currently, a low growl that was coming from deep in your throat. We’ll see how long you can last before you tap out, pansy.

          I’m a lot stronger than I was before, don’t even think you’ll be able to take advantage of me again, you thought.

          “You will not do that again, do you understand me Kim Namjoon?!” Jin growled. There was an aura coming out of Seokjin that was truly terrifying. And the murderous stare eerily reminded you of the way Kang looked at you the day of your ‘status-ing’.

          “I don’t know why she hit you Namjoon,” the previously cheerful man was now cautiously pulling Seokjin’s hand off of the man that haunted your nightmares since you were 16. “But I’m 3,000 percent sure it was entirely your fault.”

          Seokjin leaned up and turned to look at you with warning in his eyes, which quickly softened when he glanced at your face. “You got your punch in, so no more,” he ordered, though the tone in which he had said it sounded like a request more than an order.

          You nodded your head in compliance as you calmed yourself down. You had always thought that if you ever saw Namjoon again, you would definitely kill him, but seeing him with a bloody nose made you extremely content and you knew that you didn’t need any more punches.

          “Yoongi, I’m fine,” Namjoon said as the sleepy looking man set him down on stump near the fire. “But dang, her punches are just like her brothers. Guess she turned out to be an alpha after all, though everyone knew it.”

          You turned to glare at him when you felt a throbbing in the hand you had punched him with. As you clutched your wrist with the other hand, you looked down to see that all of your wounds had busted open and there were fresh wounds on your knuckles. You fell to your knees and huffed in and out to try and keep yourself from fainting at the blood that was now coming from your wound. Breathe, just breathe. Keep it together.

          Since you could remember you had always been weak when it came to blood. I’m pathetic, a wolf afraid of blood.

          “Now you realize that was a stupid decision don’t you?” Seokjin’s voice rattled you from your thoughts. He slowly reached down and pulled your arm so he could maneuver your position on the ground until your back was touching a fallen down tree log and your face was warmed by the glow of the fire.

          “Yoongi, get me the bandages from my backpack,” Seokjin said. The sleepy man complied and grabbed a rope tied around a rock and slowly lowered some duffel bags that were hanging in the air. You went to try and pull yourself up off the ground, but when you turned you realized there was a knee beside your left shoulder. You felt another leg to your right causing you to be stuck where you were sitting.

          “God, why do I have to get punched twice for the same stupid thing?!” Namjoon yelled as the cheerful man hastily shoved gauze up his nose, “Ow, Hoseok watch it!”

          “Hyung, what do you mean you got punched twice?” the man with the puppy face said as he sat next to Seokjin.

          “Taehyung, keep the fire going while I skin the deer,” Yoongi said as he handed Jin a roll of bandages.

          “Kay hyung!” the puppy faced man said as he grabbed a stick and poked at the fire.

          So Taehyung is a puppy, Yoongi is sleepy, Namjoon… well I know him already, and Hoseok is the excitable one…

          “Her brother punched me too,” Namjoon explained as he held his head in the air. “Remember how I said I presented before my 16th birthday? How I went bat-shit crazy? Yeah I made some mistakes, she got caught up in one, and her brother punched me. Same spot too, but he broke my nose.”

          “You’re telling me, that this is the girl?” Solbi asked a bit shocked as she came up behind him and smacked him upside the head causing him to groan again. “You deserved more than a punch, kid.”

          “What are you talking about Solbi?” Seokjin asked as he put the bandages he had dipped in some kind of green mixture on your hand and started to wrap your hand up. You heard him mumble something to you as he was putting the wraps on, but you weren’t really paying attention enough to notice what was said.

          At first it felt fine even a bit tingly, but when you felt it start to seep into your wounds you were seeing stars. It hurt so bad that you tried to squirm away but Seokjin’s legs held you firmly in place. “Don’t move around, I have to finish wrapping it.” But you couldn’t help it, it HURT. You looked up at him pleadingly, though you couldn’t see his face because tears were now forcing themselves out of your eyes. You knew you were a crybaby but this was getting ridiculous, but the burning and pain was too much for you to not cry… at least a little bit. He held your arm still as he finished taking care of your wound and then wiped away your tears and started petting your head.

          “Solbi, explain. What girl?” Seokjin said as he glared across the fire at Namjoon who was looking more and more guilty and intimidated.

          Solbi shifted her eyes from Seokjin back to Namjoon and reluctantly started speaking. “Well, Jinsin…. ummm… you know how Namjoon found out he was an alpha when he was 14?” Seokjin only nodded in response, “Well, he may have almost forced a girl into mating.”

          “You tried to force a mark on her?” Seokjin said rather calmly, though the aura he was emitting said different.

          “My hormones and pheromones were going crazy, hyung. I couldn’t really help it. Besides, I didn’t go through with it! Look, Miyeon’s fine! With a hell of a punch too!” Namjoon explained with his hands raised defensively with his palms facing Seokjin.

          You didn’t really want any of this being said, but with your voice gone, there was nothing you could do to protest. So throughout the short playback, you had been staring at Seokjin, wanting to see his reaction. Though you started to feel guilty hearing all of this being repeated back to you. The guilt was the same as right after the event happened. Guilt in not being able to protect yourself and having to have your 12 year old brother come and save you.

          You turned your head away from Seokjin when your guilt had caused you to realize that you had had been staring at him. He felt you turn your head but he still continued to pet your hair which you were finding deeply comforting.

          “When your wounds are healed I’ll let you tie him naked to a tree as punishment ok?” Seokjin said.

          Before you could even turn around to look at him, Yoongi placed a piece of bark in front of you with a piece of meat on it. It oozed blood and you felt like you were going to pass out. You gripped onto Seokjin’s leg for stability and turned away from the food to bury your face in the man’s thigh. Though you quickly shot your head up to look apologetically at Yoongi. You didn’t want the man to think you didn’t appreciate the gesture, but you just couldn’t stomach it.

          “Looks like I’m going to have to cook hers and hyung’s,” Yoongi sighed as he picked up the meat from where it had been set on the ground in front of you.

          “I can’t stand raw meat either,” Seokjin whispered as he patted your head three times.

          “She’s bad with blood,” Namjoon said as he disgustingly sneezed the snot and blood filled gauzes out of his nose, which again made you queasy.

          “Oh,” Taehyung said as he munched on his piece of meat while Solbi finally sat down beside him. “That’s weird for a wolf.”

          “It’s fine,” Hoseok said, “Just because you’re a wolf doesn’t mean you have to like blood.”

          “Ok guys,” Yoongi said. “Enough with the chit-chat. Hyung, I think some explanation is in order. We already know that you saved this girl from sector 2, but why we were called back?” Yoongi asked as he placed two pieces of cooked meat down; one in front of you and one beside Seokjin.

          Seokjin cleared his throat, “Now that everyone’s here, calmed down, and paying attention. We need to come up with a plan.”
