Brexit, Lies & K-Con

In the week following Britain's exit from the European Union our status as an independent nation once again for better or worse remains a contentious issue. Most recently as we have no doubt seen, there have been outbreaks of hate, racism, and in-jokes from some wayward French fans targeting UK BTS ARMY'S and airing their disapproval under the claim that we abandoned them and cut our ties with all other European ARMY's. Is this really true?

Well, no. The undercurrent of the drama stems from our growing movement which looks set to throw down the gauntlet with the hopes of attracting KCon and BigHit attention. We are a country and a community no longer quiet, and we are being noticed in places where people think we didn't exist, and for some that is a threatening prospect.

We have to say that we cannot tar all French fans with the brush of hatred, yet the negativity from over the channel was hard for us all to ignore, no doubt testing our resolve. Despite this UK ARMY'S stayed strong, retaining our stiff upper lip and even managing to laugh about the situation.

So what does it all mean for our KCon destination potential in realistic terms? Like it or not we are still part of the European continent, able to travel on simple holidays easily without the need of visa's.

There is no real reason why there cannot be multiple locations holding KCon events around Europe. And it is only logical that Britain is a powerful contender, especially given our ownership of Wembly which seats 20,000 people. It all adds up to an ocean of fans electrified with a unique British energy melding us together in one huge family gathering.

So lets keep raising awareness for our cause, lets treat each other and our French counterparts with love and kindness, we won two world wars to date, KCon is a piece of cake.
