It has been a month ever since you left and Jihoon wasn't himself the whole time. Even though his occupation is against it, he couldn't help but result to vices. Day and night full of empty bottles, whiskey, rum, vodka, beer. Dozens of packs purchased every other hour and cigarette butts piling nonstop on the ashtray.
Nothing but the smell of alcohol and smoke scented his apartment.
"Fuck." he muttered in the silence in his room as he leaned back against an old, hard couch, it's fabric in tatters and it's colours had long faded. A freshly lit cigarette in between two of his fingers, that faintly provided light in the dim room.
The clinking of ice against glass resonated as he moved his other hand carrying a glass of whiskey to his lips. It's sweet but painful taste burned his throat that made Jihoon grunt as he put the glass back down.
Alone by himself with nothing but the light sound of his breathing and the ticking of the clock accompanying him.
Tick tick tick went the clock as the hands traveled over the numbers.
11:52 pm
Once again, a day passed with Jihoon still in the same place he was in yesterday. Not once has he eaten since and he doesn't plan to either, his figure much thinner, his face much paler. His eyes, empty.
Resting the cigarette between his lips, his hand reached for the coffee table, looking for something. His fingers then felt the cold, solid steel, the steel glimmering under the faint cigarette light, the steel perfectly contrasting his pale wrist, the steel then decorated with red.
Jihoon waited for the pain to come, to at least relieve the throbbing in his chest and head but it never came.
Not enough.
One more clean slice. And another, and another. His white sleeves now wet with a dark cherry colour as he continued to make his arm a living canvas. More and more, and he could finally feel it, the faint pang of pain.
More and mo-.
"Jihoon!" a voice from the door echoed throughout the room then the breaking of metal and glass followed. He felt a pair of hands grab at his shoulders and another pair separated him from the blood stained blade.
"What the fuck Jihoon!" Mingyu said as he threw the knife away from arms reach and tended to Jihoon's wounds. He winced at how many gashes were on his arm and he was angry at Jihoon for being stupid enough to do this. Disappointed and sad on what Jihoon had become. A mess.
Jihoon growled and started thrashing when Mingyu poured alcohol all over his wounds, whilst Jun held him tightly down and they managed to clean and dress his arm.
"Leave me alone." Jihoon muttered freeing himself from Jun and reaching for a can of beer. His hand was grabbed and Mingyu dragged him out of his apartment. Jihoon tried to pry from his grip but he was locked in a solid hold. "What the hell are you doing? Let go!"
He continued to struggle until he was forcefully pushed in the back of a car and was locked in. Mingyu got in the driver's seat and waited for Jun that soon arrived with a loaded bag. No one said another word as Mingyu started the car and veered onto gravel road.
It was chilly that night. A bit too cold for Jihoon's liking but he had little energy to complain. With the car's light shaking and the engine's low rumbling, he was soon lulled to sleep.

Jihoon woke up to the sound of doors closing. Mingyu and Jun had apparently got down and started gathering their stuff. The door to Jihoon's right opened and Mingyu slowly brought him out, "can you stand?". Jihoon scoffed as a way of saying 'of course' but one step forward his vision blurred and he wobbled. Mingyu shook his head and took one of Jihoon's arms and aided him to an apartment.
"You're so stupid." a familiar voice reached Jihoon's ears and he looked up to find the owner of it sitting on a couch in the side of the room. Jihoon’s eyes widened as he took in the image before him.
"You were here?!" Jihoon could only say.
