Does anyone else feel a little bit like they’ve had a rug suddenly pulled out from beneath their feet? Ollie’s just... gone? He barely said goodbye to anyone, there was no little celebration or send off, he just... went. And Essie? God, Sacha looked gutted, and rightly so. Never been a huge Essie lover but to see her leaving cause of guilt over the trial? Seriously hope that isn’t the last of her. They’ve had almost an entire turnover in their characters recently and I’m not at all happy about it, I hope we see some familiar faces back for good since I just don’t see how a whole revamp is gonna work quite frankly. That confrontation with Hanssen and Fletch... if Ollie’s gone then I wonder if it’ll ever go past the three guys- would Hanssen admit to that, would Fletch just drop him in it? Both seem unlikely to me. I do hope Hanssen comes forward though because that’s totally unacceptable, as hard as it has been for him recently. Gaskell continues to creep the fuck out of me, I don’t even know what’s going on there any more but I absolutely don’t like it.

One final thought- isn’t Zosia due back soon? I totally thought they’d have a storyline with her returning to Oliver and the challenges his injury would pose to their relationship since the timings seem to match up almost perfectly; if my calculations are correct, it’s been six months since we said goodbye to her. Don’t know what would be more gutting- seeing her return without Ollie being there or not having her back at all.
