i have a slight headcanon that post ws bucky has a thing with people touching / giving physical contact. especially his metal arm not out of the fact that he's afraid that he'd hurt them but the fact that it brings back painful memories to when he was strapped in that seat, helpless while the russian/hydra scientists were operating on him.

The only thing that really upset me about Winter Solider was that it was primarily about SHIELD and HYDRA. The movie was called THE WINTER SOLIDER. I wanted more Bucky. I wanted flashbacks of when Zola started experimenting on him. I wanted to see everything he went through. Because for people who saw Winter Solider and don't know the comic!verse, they wouldn't know that they would freeze him until they needed him to work again. I don't know, I just wanted a lot more Bucky since the movie was named after him.
