but what if bucky and natasha go on patrols around the city to wait for people to talk shit about their boyfriends ("you like captain america? why? he's so dumb!"/"hawkeye's not even a real hero") and creep out of nowhere whispering "heard u were talkin' shit".

ok this is something im really confused about, if your statistical average for something is 0 per month, and your outlier is 10000, wouldn't your statistical average of fuckups per month be 10000, not 2?

after watching cap2 again i couldn't get over how similar natasha and steve's hand to hand combat moves are, and now all i can think about is them sparring for hours on end, laughing "is that all you got?" when one of them almost breaks a nose, until they're a giggly bloody mess.

no but steve going on mental illness campaigns, and sam promoting treatment of ptsd in returning veterans, because they've both seen people they've loved and cared about be torn apart because no one could figure out how to help them and it's unacceptable. while steve will never be able to voice his fears to 300 million people, he knows that the image of captain america has always helped at home, and home's where their vets are returning, and they need be ready to help.
