I really enjoy The Boys. Seasons 1-3 were peak, and seasons 4-5 have been super fun if not a little silly at times. Gen V Season 1 was very fun too but I didn't really care much for it. I DO however have a few problems with Gen V Season 2. The fun part of watching The Boys is seeing what horrible people do with substantial power, and then watching them get brutalized. The shock factor should be "What a weird/sick/evil/cool/interesting way to use that power!" But in the recent season a lot of the shock came from just straight up weird powers. None of them were that interesting, its just "What if this taboo body part was limitless!!!!!" Its pubic hair but its ENDLESS, its someones asshole but theres a BLACK HOLE in it so its ENDLESS. Thats not really that interesting or shocking, its kinda just potty humor. I liked when it was classic superhero scenarios gone awry by incompetent heroes. What if a speedster hit someone while they were running? What if the superman type won't save the plane? Thats fun, not just What if a cat and dog hero met and smelled eachothers butts. The shock and comedy should be from how people USE these powers, not the powers themselves.

I think the fact that the VERY first thing we see happen to Superman is him losing a fight, being beat up by a puppy, and shriek like a little girl, shows EXACTLY why he is so inspiring. He started as a literal loser, he lost. But he never loses his strength. Even when he loses, he is still the strongest man on the planet. I think it's okay to lose too now.

I think iron man deserves to be on the superhero Mount Rushmore. As much as the others are cooler (not imo) and more influential in the comics. Iron man redefined what a superhero movie was. It wasn't just an actor in a black spy outfit with darker color versions of their original suit. He literally redefined a medium and made superheros a little less lame to the average person. I think that amount of change is commendable

To me, Mikki is red and blue

Mikki feels like red

Red like passion, love, and inconsequence..

Red like the warmth I feel from her blood or the sun

Red like her hair most of the time

Mikki is red like staying home sick after an episode and finally being alone

Mikki is red like curving lips, lipstick, and that one night from awhile ago

Mikki is red like a scratch, Mikki is red like the line left from a drop of blood rolling down your leg

Mikki feels blue too,

Blue like down turned eyes and a tail tucked between a pair of legs

Blue like a swirl, or a current, or smoke in the air

Blue like a star drawn like the rings of a tree

Blue like before the birds wake up

Mikki is blue like the moon, and just as beautiful as her. The moon reminds me of you a lot Mikki.

Mikki is blue like listening to your favorite song outside the school before it opens

Mikki is blue like tears welling up, and the relief that comes when they finally come out

Mikki feels like when you start to feel better after crying for a long time. I wonder if that's a coincidence or if Mikki really makes me feel that great.

If i met teenage me from the past, I would probably beat the fuck out of him. I still feel like him sometimes. Unconcerned asshole who always did what he said he was gonna do, and it was always what he wanted. The only solution is to embrace being kind and changing what needs to change
