This evening we went out for dinner and decided to try a barbecue buffet for two. The atmosphere was great, and there were more than 20 different cuts of beef, pork, and chicken to choose from, not even counting the seafood.

There was also a cooked food section with Chinese and European dishes, plus bakery items, ice cream, yogurt, cold dishes, fruit, sushi, and self serve soft drinks. Everything was included in one package.

We paid 216 yuan for two people, around 31 dollars. The time limit was two hours, and there was a 50 yuan deposit in case food was left over. If you finish everything, the deposit gets refunded to your wallet.

Personally, I feel like I did not eat enough compared to other tables, but it was still a fun buffet experience in its own way.

The lunch buffet spread is especially popular, such that the sprawling restaurant is packed with diners. If you’re thinking of splurging on a really delicious meal here - and you should - I highly recommend placing an advance table reservation. Not only is the restaurant interior elegant (got to give it to the Italians!), the food is nothing short of spectacular.

This international buffet boasts fine cheeses, impossibly fresh seafood and exotic dishes across various cuisines alongside exquisite pastas, as well as other Italian fare. Everything I tried was incredibly delicious! I ate so much that I didn’t have room for dessert.

Is it weird that I still feel anxiety and embarrassment from my birthday that was in October? I mean, the thing I’m embarrassed about probably isn’t even worth being embarrassed about, all I did was ask my mom to put my plate at the end of the table in the restaurant we were in. I didn’t see the lady there with the bill. My mom gave the plate to the lady instead of just setting it at the end of the table like I asked her to!! I couldn’t tell if that was just another issue of my mom not listening to me yet again, or if that was just my mom going about what I asked her to do in her own way.
