I LOVE BUGMAN SO MUCH. When its in it’s sleeping bag, I want to cuddle it like a body pillow to sleep or carry it around like a giant plushie 💞

Bugman would be out like a light if someone cuddled it. The feeling and warmth of your body against it is a comfort it is foreign to. As a result of your kindness it would offer to carry/hold you whenever you're tired so you feel the same experience. Bugman hates to be in debt to someone, but it isn't sure if it can ever properly repay you for the well needed rest it receives

For their part, hopperoids are fearful of many predatory species, and because of their tasty, nutritious nature, are often seen as potential food by many other creatures, including some humans.

Going through my archive box I came across a character from a pre-Faeries Bible era comic called Shadow's Quest. The character was supposed to be a bug demon, but was in the era where the only thing you needed to make a character a bug demon was pointy ears, green skin, feelers, and wings. I had found a redesign I made later, nothing really changed but art style improvement and outfit though, so I decided to redesign him again, taking inspiration from a later bugman OC Bellamy as well as the Magus Sisters summon from Final Fantasy 10. I think I still have use of this design for something else but maybe not. i dunno.
