Month 3 of Bug Testing!!!

I just wanted to share our bug-fixes log with everyone, because after weeks of feeling like things weren't getting done fast enough, I realized how far it's come.

It can be really discouraging as a solo dev when you’ve been staring at the screen so long, you can’t really see all the changes you’ve made to your project.

I guess anytime my programmer and I trade the build back and forth new glitches pop up TTvTT.  I'm pretty sure I caught most of the game-breaking stuff. But I got this sinking suspicion something new has gone wonky and I just haven’t caught it yet OTL

Only the first scene is voiced atm. Putting a single character in takes two-three weeks to edit a characters lines and another 3-4 days to program them in.

Nanase and Yoku's lines are completely edited, so I'll be moving onto Hiro next and finish up with Mariko.

This Saturday 2/2, marks 1 full year of Multiverse Sans with Multiverse support. I mentioned last weekend I’m almost ready for the big version update, but didn’t want to promise the full milestone...  

v1.4.0 is set to officially release this Saturday!!

Unique responses to most pickups you tell him

Some reactions and new pickups based on User Traits

Just need some testing on the above new features to make sure it’s running smoothly on a wide scale. It’s a dev build so you have to opt-in via Dev Build Update in System Functions menu (hammer and wrench icon) and let me know any problems you find.

Any feedback is appreciated, especially nitpicky adjustments!

Unit 5 Wrap up

Today marks the finish of Unit 5 Testing and Quality Assurance it’s been an interesting unit.

It appears to be a lot to learn within 4 weeks but being in this course has taught me to pick up new software with a lot more ease than at the start of the year.

It’s now onto the final project of the year.

So, I know this isn’t super impressive, all things considered, but I’ve had the longest feud with a certain bug in Exilus where dashing got you stuck to/in walls, and I’ve finally fixed it! Hopefully this means no more getting stuck in blocks when you shouldn’t.

A day of Bugs

Today was a day filled with bugs and their fixes. We encounter some pretty mean bugs while testing but we were able to squash them all along with a bug that we have had for a very long while. I’m proud of my team and especially the programmers for the way they handled these bugs and the way the were able to beat them so quickly.
