Can’t brain. Must pizza. Follow @bravo33alpha. 🧠 🍕 One of my lymph nodes swoll up and got hard as a rock a couple of days ago so my mind has been foggy and blurry. Sort of like a boiling hot slushee. Up towards a 40°C (104°F) fever making me dream about Techno Viking being my father and stuff like that. I ended up spending 8,5 hours at the ER to get the antibiotics I needed. I knew what I needed since this has happened before but the ER is so understaffed and there’s a lot of people going there because getting a doctors appointment through your local health center is harder than solving who built the pyramids (I don’t know. Therefore aliens.) and when you finally get an appointment it’s gonna be in five weeks and you’re probably dead. Free health care has both pros and cons but it’s worth it. Pay your taxes. Anyhow... I feel a lot better now and I’m fever free and according to my unicorn buddy who accompanies me to work my hallucinations are gone. Horses don’t exist. SLEEP. PIZZA. REPEAT. Got up way to early for a Sunday morning and checked #STHLMUrbanTrail of @sthlmchallenge off the list with @jp_37. This was one of the most fun races I’ve endured because instead of regular forest trail it was through building like museums, cinemas and hotels. I recommend running it! A fun part of @bravo33alpha’s training for #paraendurancerace2018 arranges by @rekyl_swe. Yet another amazing morning with an absolute horrible workout. 35 minutes of pure humiliating discomfort with torture tools that are probably prohibited by the Geneva convention. Panting and sweating like a gothopotamus in heat. Why even try when you can’t even sleep a full night without going to the bathroom twice? Always remember that it’s NEVER too late to give up. 😂 Thankfully @clarafroberg from @styrkebyran was there so I could take some time to talk about training instead of actually doing it for a while. That helped me get through my 5 rounds of terror.
