Oh Peppermint, How I love thee..
Of course as you know, Peppermint is all the rage this season. Hot Chocolate, Candy Canes, Peppermint Mocha Latte, or even Peppermint tea! As much as I am NOT a Christmas caroler, I do enjoy my Charlie Brown-Christmas Time is Here!
We've gotten some new stocking stuffers in. Peppermint Cremes, I'm usually not a HUGE mint fan, but these covered in chocolate are absolutely delicious. Especially with a nice cup of Hot Cocoa!
What would be better than one of these on Christmas morning? I know, not much of a dieter but then again can you blame me, being that I work for an online candy store? Pray for me =)

LEFT OVER HALLOWEEN CANDY? :OPERATION GRATITUDE
We've felt a strong tug on our hearts to blog about this particular movement.
Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind and to Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers. Our mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member’s face and express to our Armed Forces the appreciation and support of the American people. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. For safety and security, assembling of packages occurs at the Army National Guard armory in Van Nuys, California. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 915,000 packages to American Military members.
We hope that any left over Halloween Candy you may have, you donate to Operation Gratitude. It is the least we can do for the men and women that are at the front lines battling for our country at this time.
Now & Laters have come a long from a little candy shop in Brooklyn!
Thanx to Joseph Klein, The Pheonix Company turned the Salt-Water Taffy business into a Multi-Million dollar industry.
"Now and Later" used to be a ten-cent candy bar of nine beige-colored squares (imagine them having no color!) The point was: It would take you about 30 minutes to finish all nine squares! So you could have some now...or later!
