So I decided I wanted to get crafty and make some matcha truffles along with some chocolate dipped strawberries, cherries, and raspberries. I went to Walmart and got two 8oz bags of white vanilla flavored candy melts in the party isle. I already had the matcha on hand. You can find it at most tea shops like Teavana or my personal favorite; The tea Smith. https://www.theteasmith.com/SFNT.html It’s a nice little store in Omaha, Nebraska that I usually stop at when passing through or going to Nebraskon. I recommend their sweet pomegranate green tea. I also purchased 2 XL bars of mildly sweet dark chocolate by Hershey’s. Then of course I purchased some cherries raspberries and strawberries. To melt both the chocolate and the white vanilla flavored candy, you put them in separate bowls and microwave each one on a defrost setting for a minute at the very least. (For my microwave anyway. Each microwave is different.) I put about a tablespoon and a half of matcha powder in to both of those bags of candy melt. I’ve been used and icing bag to get the mixture into its silicone Now for the berries I just drizzle chocolate over some of them some of them that whole technique is all up to you. Finally I put everything in the refrigerator to cool them all down.
