Nugu GG of the Week #175 : Bulldok

Bulldok is a 5 member GG that debuted in 2016. The group is made up of Sora, Genie, Say, Hyungeun and nugu darling 💕 Kimi. Kimi was sorta part of the this weird nugu GG back in 2011 that had like 24 members and several units and girls kept leaving and going and I honestly don't remember if she actually debuted or was just in the group and left before participating in a release. That group was confusing. She also prior to debuting in Bulldok was in Scarlet (y'all still streaming Do Better?).

For some reason out of all nugu GGs out there they are one of the ones who aren't on Spotify, they used to be but their music seems to be taken off but it's on YouTube music. Why Not is their only song as they disbanded sometime the following year. The song is pretty solid, back in 2016 this was definitely at the top of most nugu GG stans lists of songs you need to get into. The song is still nice in 2024 I think, it is pretty simple in production and melody but the members voices/tones are pretty nice, plus Kimi is a pretty good rapper girlie especially with her blonde short bob™>

The MV was low budget, they kinda stole 4Minutes 'WHY' outfits but their wardrobe was pretty cool.

As of now in 2024 Kimi and Sora seem to be the only ones still pursuing music. Kimi went to redebut in a duo, Papillon, that disbanded shortly after, she joined We Girls but they disbanded before she could release music with them, she then in 2022 joined 'onair' an upcoming nugu GG that had a interesting nugu darling lineup however it was revealed in January of this year she left the group. Not sure what her next step will be but we're rooting for her! She does have a few solos but she's nugu so 🙄 'I Am' is on Spotify but not YouTube music and her song 'Mammy Mammy' is on YouTube music but not Spotify, makes no sense. The other member Sora recently, like a few months ago, released a solo song 'Hit the Road', it does have that tropical summer feel.
