Preference: Reader Loses Memories (Heroes)
Fandom: Gotham
Character: Alfred
You had stumbled from the yard, bleeding from the head. Alfred called the family physician and he came in, taking you to the hospital once he deemed it was necessary. Alfred waited for you to come out but when you did he was told the news, you remembered nothing. Nothing of your life together, nothing of him in general. You understood bits and pieces about yourself, like what food you liked and what your age was, but nothing about Gotham or your husband, the Wayne’s butler. Alfred took you home, setting you up in a room alone so that you would feel comfortable, and brought you some tea. Then the two of you sat down and he slowly tried to piece together your life.
Character: Dent
Well, this was just Harvey’s luck. The two of you had barely started dating and already something had gone terribly wrong. You were mugged, hit on the head with the butt of a gun and left for dead. They found you but you couldn’t remember anything about yourself, not your name, or home address, or even what year it was. Harvey went to you, but you didn’t want anything to do with him. He sighed, pulling out his two headed coin and starting to flip it in his hands like he did when he was frustrated or anxious. You stared, cocking your head to the side and asked what the hell he was doing that for. That brought a smile to his face, at least you hadn’t lost your moxie.
Character: Jim
Jim arrived on the scene right behind you. He saw the assailant take you, his partner and significant other, hostage and he held up his gun, ready to fire. The man made a move, giving him enough room to fire an he did. But at the last second he moved you and you were hit. Jim shot again, this time hitting his target. He ran to you, getting an ambulance to the scene as fast as he could. They took you to the hospital and were able to save your life with minimal damage to your brain. Jim came in to see you and you stared blankly at him before realization hit you and you screamed. You remembered nothing but him firing his gun at you.
Character: Bullock
Ugh, it had taken Bullock literal months to get you to even consider a date with him. That had, luckily, gone well and now you had been together for nearly two years now. But one accident in a pool and your brain needed time to recover and that meant that you now couldn’t stand him again. He didn’t care though, he visited everyday, bringing something new for him to show you about your life together. Every once in awhile he’d see something in your eye that he hoped was your memories returning, it normally wasn’t, but it was a sign that you were falling in love again. That he could work with.
