@bumblez12: This is 100% one of my most ‘soft’ memories of FFVII. How gentle and magical it all felt watching it. Daydreaming of being able to experience that kind of display whilst soaring through the air... amazing.

30: Is there any character that you strongly identify with or understand their behavior?

Hoo boy. Well, generally speaking the characters in Mob Psycho are fantastically written and highly relatable. I love them all and I like understanding what motivates them. But you know that post that is like “everyone has that mp100 kid they project all of their problems onto”? Well they aren’t wrong.

I understand Ritsu and Shou but their issues are not ones I have. I get a lot of Mob’s social nervousness, being awkward, struggling with basic things sometimes, but generally he’s a better person than me. I also relate to Reigen in the whole being an adult is hard and you don’t actually know what you are doing, but overall my life is more... put together than his is hahaha

And then there is Teruki... like it’s not the same, and I’ve never had that sort of superiority complex hahaha, but there is a reason I’m fairly convinced he has some pretty deep seated anxiety issues. There were times in the past where I was terrified of stopping drawing because I was convinced no-one would be friends with me then, that I would lose my identity. That if I stopped doing this thing then I would be excluded from the community and what use would I be then? What value would I have then? So I get that aspect of his personality pretty well, combined with the whole nature of holding yourself together through a sheer force of will and a fragile veneer of confidence that is covering a fear that you are this close to being found out and having to face the fact that you are nothing. You end up compensating by being independent and competent because it’s the only thing you have to try and hold back the anxiety that is trying very hard to convince you that you can’t handle it and you really should give up. Failing when you’ve actually tried is something that you can’t allow to happen, you have to pretend it isn’t really a big deal, if you want to be okay you can’t let the anxiety be right about you.

And that’s why he’s the one I picked out hahaha *pats*
