BUMPUS HOUNDS! BUMPUS HOUNDS!
This is my favorite Christmas story scene. The bumpuses, to me, rep the unforeseen contrast that sometimes pops up in life. And it happens to all of us. How you deal with it, react to it, feel about it, is entirely up to you.
You can choose to laugh. You can choose to allow it to pass, and be happy anyway. You can take a ravaged Bumpus hound turkey and make it into a delicious Chinese Christmas dinner. Maybe a new fun tradition, maybe not. Either way laughter, heals. & Going with the flow, is peace.
This year, a lot of families and friends may not be able to spend the holidays in close proximity. Choose to love you, regardless of the circumstances. Reach out and love. It’ll make you feel better. And it’s delicious soul food. ❤️🎅👍🎁

Probably the best scene in the entire movie.
The Cathy Santonies, We Dance the Coldheart
Kick ass show tonight! The Cathy Santonies, Vortis, the Bumpus Hounds, and the P.Y.T.S.! Pancho's at 9 pm!
The last time I saw the Cathy Santonies I Indian wrestled Jane Danger and put her on her ass on Western Ave., so I may not be her favorite person anymore. Download their Winter 2011 Demo and I'm Yr Friend! I'm Yr Revolution! at http://thecathysantonies.bandcamp.com/. Free Shit.
I have mentioned before that Vortis is Jim DeRogatis' band; I think they are releasing a new album tonight. The Bumpus Hounds is Pete's band; he's cool. Don't know the last one.
