Tony and/or Bruce making a breakthrough in their work and being extra excited about it,, (if ur still taking requests ❤)
tony has jarvis set up a protocol where he blasts music all around the house/tower whenever he makes a breakthrough in his work.
no one knows about this protocol, so the first time it happens after all the avengers move in together, steve thinks they’re being attacked. he books it into the living room with his shield ready. nat and bruce were already there, and she whips a gun out of thin air. bruce is so startled, he started hulking out, but he doesn’t complete the transformation because that’s when tony runs into the room, pumping his fists above his head while singing along to eye of the tiger that’s playing through the speakers. bruce instantly settles back into being bruce again, steve and nat lower their weapons, and they just watch tony, who doesn’t seem to notice them and continues doing laps around the living room, still pumping his fists, until the song is over.
when the music fades out, tony finally notices them and he’s like, “oh hey guys! guess what! i’m brilliant, i’m a genius, i just discovered the most amazing thing, so it’s time to celebrate! hit it jarvis!” and suddenly the chorus to we are the champions starts playing and tony spreads his arms out and sings along. “we are the champions!!!! of the wooooorld!!!”
and when that fades out, bruce clears his throat and asks, “so...what... did you discover?”
tony launches into a long explanation about what he’d been doing for the last three days down in the lab, and bruce is the only one who can keep up with the scientific jargon, but it’s cute watching tony get so excited and seeing his eyes light up while he goes on babbling, so nat and steve stay to listen to him talk. when tony runs out of breath and finishes talking, they take him out to dinner to celebrate.
the next time jarvis implements Scientific Victory Protocol, he gives the rest of the team a 15 second heads up warning so they don’t get startled again.
