A mourner caresses the slain Martin Luther King Jr. after his assassination in April 1968. . . Burk Uzzle took this photo, one of a countless number of historic images he has taken over a career of almost 60 years. Uzzle’s life and work are explored in the documentary “F11 and Be There,” directed by Jethro Waters. It just premiered at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Uzzle’s native North Carolina. today has been an overwhelmingly inspiration day!
