The day started early - Rangiku had ensured that it would be that way. To guarantee that she would have the most premium shopping experience, she had to have the longest period of time possible. Some girls could only last for one or two hours, but that was merely a warm-up! With one or two hours, the blonde would only be able to thoroughly wade through a handful of stores - certainly not enough to gather all of things she wanted!
Of course, that wasn't the only reason she'd wanted to spend most of the day out in the world of the living. She hadn't gone shopping with some of her girlfriends in quite some time, let alone gone out with her closest friends, Momo and Tsukiko, since before things stopped being... crazy. Yes, that was the best word for it. Rangiku knew the two smaller girls were stronger than they looked - in the way that Momo still held that determined look in her eyes and in the way that Tsukiko still refused to give up hope that things would end up alright - but she also knew that the poor girls hadn't had a chance to do something normal in too long.
They all needed a little bit of normal right about now.
The blonde pulled a small yellow sundress off the rack and held it up to the light, assessing its every feature. After all, she had to make sure it was worthy enough to try on before wasting her energy and calling her companion over. Thankfully, it passed the Matsumoto Rangiku certified cute clothing test. "Hinamori-chan! You ought to try this on." She waggled her eyebrows with excitement. "It'll look cute on you, don't you think?"
