concept: nero in da domus high school au

AHHH HOLY MOLY !!! What an idea !! 

I must admit I had some trouble with understanding the high school system, cause it had always confused me. So I hope that most of it makes some sense. The ages of the Nero in da Domus cast do also cause a bit of a gap, but hear me out: 

Nero had been adopted by his step-father Claudius (who is a renown business man) last year and his mother Agrippina, another known business lord after inheriting her father company, who had a terrible accident, decided that her son ought to go to some “proper” private school, which has a good status. 

Being 14 he goes go this elite high school, where he takes classes like Business Studies and Accounting. Without his mother knowing, Nero also joins a band club and a poetry club. 

Nero tries his best to impress the dudes in the poetry club, but they all tell him that his poems are basic. 

Nero however does really well in the band club and is very skilled with the piano/orgle. He also loves playing the guitar, but he still hasn’t perfected his skills.  

Every morning before assembly he meets Acte (17/18 ?) on her way to her public high school, which isn’t too far away from the elite one. Her clothes are all second hand and she dreams of taking over her dad’s Tile shop. Once she finishes high school, she helps out at her dad’s shop and Nero visits them every week. 

In his first year he met Otho (19), who is finishing High School that year, takes Nero under his wing and shows him the ways of this school, including pranking other kids. They never go overboard with these things (cause status). Also Otho remains friends with Nero after graduating (?), because he firmly believes in the Vitamin B (aka having loads of contacts, where he can call them for a favour). 

Seneca is Nero’s teacher (I am not sure what subject yet) and Nero is very fond of his lessons and advice he gives him. Seneca also encourages Nero to keep writing poems. Though Seneca (like all the other teachers too) does have an issue with Nero’s short attention span/day dreaming.  

Burrus is the Sports coach, who due some prior financial help from Agrippina, he goes easy on Nero during training. This doesn’t make Nero very popular, among the other kids. 

Poppaea has already finished high school in Nero first year, but she occasionally shows up to chat with her boyfriend, whom she later ditches for Otho. Although Nero has only met her once at high school, he keeps hearing from her via Otho and later on even chat on Facebook.   

Britannicus, Claudius’s 2nd son from a previous marriage, attends high school, when Nero (18) is in his Senior year (?). The relationship between them is bitter and they don’t like being associated with each other. With his fellow Freshmen (?) Britannicus was quite popular and he takes classes in Accounting and English Literature. At school he rare gets his epilepsy fits, but he does, he gets very embarrassed afterwards. In the same year Claudius dies, which caused Britannicus grades/motivation to hit rock bottom.

Octavia is too young to attend high school, but she’s usually in the car, when their butler picks Nero (and later on Britannicus) up from school. She tries her best to be friendly with Nero and does try to include him in family activities, mainly because he’s part of family and it would be mean not to.  

That is all I have thought of for the time being. Feel free to add to the list or tell me what you would change ? I am eager to hear your version. :D

2020 July 8 -This is #QuarantineHawgLife! 🐖🐖🐖 My Free Range Pet Buck "Vommer" ... 26 months old here. 🦌🦌🦌 He is Livin The Dream enjoying HawgLife TOTALLY LOVING ❤❤❤ The NEW IMPROVED Sanctuary!!! 🙏🙏🙏 YES This is MY back yard and he is after the unparalleled variety of bird seed and corn that the birds pull out of MY PATENTED Designed SUPER FEEDERS!!! He will browse on that smorgasbord of tasty buds in that strategically placed island of trees. He may then work that overhead licking branch on that tactically pruned crabapple tree before he gets a good wiff of the urine under it from the other deer that were there. He will browse my #Burrus #Soybeans and this year I planted #DekalbCorn that they have been devouring. This young buck has already come from my front yard where he nibbled on some Kentucky Bluegrass "Troy" and "Ginger" forgage variety grasses I planted just for the deer, then ate some of those succulent clovers growing. So far he hasn't browsed the Ruby, Meader or Weber American Persimmon trees in my front and back yard but when they finally produce fruit the deer will gobble them up like candy. That is just another reason all the deer in the area come feast heavily at the wildlife habitat Masterpiece I created out of my yard that is positioned on Illinois' ULTIMATE DEER and Wildlife Travel Corridor!!! 🦌🦌🐺🦊🐿🐹🦃🦅🦆🦉🦌🦌 . . .
