GAVE OVER Pt 1

From Julia’s appearance, Vicki and Julia has a lot of drama, from fighting over Bruce to becoming co-workers, and then probably friends, but it all compounds in this very dramatic scene where Julia nearly dies because of their reporting and investigation. And it is AMAZING!

This scene has so many cute stuff, from little friendship moments where they’re whispering to each other about their next hit story (they’re both so passionate and I love them for it) to Vicki literally saying “I don’t want to lose YOU to the Gazette” and Julia reassuring her that “You know I give you the cream” and “Bruce is hardly mine”.

Then there is Vicki asking her to be careful and then RACING after her the second she realises what’s wrong. Julia is also so insane and hardcore, truly born of two parents of the resistance. Using the bar soap and washclothes to make an instant weapon and braving that against a KNIFE? This whole scene is such a good movie scene too, the timing of it especially. Vicki’s entrance and the commotion distracting him, Julia whacking him in the head with the shampoo hard enough that the bottle shatters, giving Vicki time to rush in just in the nick of time, forcing him to escape? A masterpiece.

They also have little cute scenes before this like when they chased Catwoman’s panther together

and when Julia offered a shoulder for Vicki to cry on but she declined to let Julia go on her date

and Julia defending Vicki to her own father.

Anyway, it’s my special talent getting attached to characters that people won’t care about soon... but anyway they’re together in my head. The hilarity of Alfred’s daughter marrying Vicki Vale who is constantly trying to crack Batman’s identity? Sign me up!
