Aoko, you’re smarter than to think I’d really buy that.” He knelt next to her, extending a hand. “C’mon, let’s get those cleaned up.” Outwardly, he’s unnervingly calm- mainly because he was fighting to keep any anger he felt out of his voice. That sort of icy, calm rage was more intimidating than anything else.
“...Did Kasuga-san and her friends do this?” He’s heard their spats before- but they’d only ever been words exchanged until now. If he’d had any idea it would escalate to this point...
He was plotting revenge already, he realized, and inwardly chastised himself for it- it wasn’t the right way to approach this, no matter how upset he might be. This was Aoko’s fight, not his- he wanted to hear what she had to say about the matter before anything else.
