The thing people also don't understand ABOUT plots thought of later is it's less like "what if we did this- oh FUCK! We already did it in a contradictory way in an earlier season and now it's already been released!"
It's more like "remember when we did this in an earlier season? What if we deepened the lore on that?"
People want so bad for things to be sloppy just because their only basis to arguing predictions they don't like won't happen is "the writers wrote that whole plot on accident. They slipped"
