I want to cry. Because this is too good. He is too good to be real.
Sun seems to grow more backbone nowadays. Or, it's just his trauma talking.
I'm kind of disappointed at how Sun and Moon conversation went today with Moon half-ass apologies but then I just noticed some interesting details.
Sun didn't accept Moon's apologies. He just shrugs and stands his ground. He wasn't welcome Moon, he stayed on his guards and literally stayed away from Moon, as far as possible. He didn't even try to entertain Moon when Moon said he needs some aspirin for his headache. If like before, maybe Sun would worry about Moon's health and ask him to sit down or relax... But right now, Sun just talks like he talks to someone he needs to be careful with, or with the customers.
Sun didn't even smile or try to be cheerful at Moon. He didn't call Moon his brother back either. It seems to me like Sun was half dissociated from himself, or for better words, numbing his emotions to deal with Moon's comeback. It feels like he just accepts Moon back and nothing else, because He knows it's not the things he can control, so he just keeps... Bearing anything until he breaks.
And with Monty, I don't think Sun has forgiven Monty yet. When they called, Sun's voice was tired and strained, with a bit annoyed like he just wants Monty to cut to the chase and stop all of their bullshit so He can go back to sleep.
Sun even jokingly threatened Monty, when they imply Sun and Moon would gonna fish fight each other.
Sun before would never talk back to Moon or Monty like that.
He loves Moon. And he kinda likes Monty, (because they helped him a lot and they are the reason why Sun and Moon could separate in the first place.)
So he always takes their teases and sass and just lets it go. But seemingly hiding Old Moon from Sun is the last straw, because right now, Sun sass back at Monty.
For real, right now, I feel like Sun is just pushing buttons. Don't even know it is the sign of passively suicide or He seemingly just want to lure people into hitting him, so he has the reasons to hit them back.
Because despite his star power, Sun is still extremely weak and he cannot use his power because the Astral Bodies have threatened to end their life if he or Moon continue to use Star power.
But Sun still threatens many people. (Puppet, catnap, papyrus,... Every person make Sun piss off)
I don't know if it was a sign of passive suicide (Sun unconscious did that because for real, that poor little new mew doesn't even know he is trauma dumping Amanda...), or because of trauma, so Sun kept repeat triggering situations and putting himself in danger so he could control the situation himself better.
Like a child who was abused as a child, he will constantly put himself in danger, as a way to prove that he is better now and nothing can harm him anymore.
I DID IT. I GOT PAST THE FILLER, AND NOW ON TO THE SMUT.
OH MY GOD
