If I have a nickel for every time Ray interrupted Sand while he was flirting with someone and then proposed a threesome between the three of them, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice.

not but clovers are symbols of hope and qrow clutching the pin to his chest is a little development of his character. not my muse i don't go here but this is the guy who last volume was like 'we can't get to atlas so lets stop' to the kiddos and this the same guy who literally sits his ass down far away when he breaks the tire and strands them on the farm

like qrow is a cynic and a realist to his core and he says things like 'you either lying or youre crazy? crazy. got it.' and things like 'bad things just happen'

maybe it's the life he's led. maybe his childhood. maybe his semblance, but this guy sticks to what he knows and experienced. hope and good intentions, yeah no life and bad things, very constant bad things, sometimes snuffs that hope out. and we're seeing it happen.

so it's beautiful when he wishes on clover pin to stop the bomb. i mean granted he did try to physical stop it and it was futile, but it was a last measure of trying. and realistically and cynically there is no way that pin can stop that bomb. but hey. qrow thinks, maybe, this little pin, who helped clover so much, can help me too. and he takes it out and closes his eyes. holds it to his chest. and it gleams.

the pin was a good luck charm for clover but for qrow its now something entirely different. it's more than a memento to carry. it is hope.
