The way Giles and Joyce talk about Faith taking over Slaying in Sunnydale for Buffy really bothers me

They didnt even ask Faith if she would be okay with it

They just thought this traumatized girl would have no problem with throwing her life away and shoulder all this responsibility they saw Buffy, a person who didnt have trauma before becoming a Slayer unlike Faith, struggle with for years ( Yes Faith keeps talking about how much she loves Slaying but Giles as one of her Watchers should see how that is more because of how she deals with trauma in an unhealthy way and how that might affect her mental state)

It makes me think about how Giles never showed Faith any direct support

Why couldnt he tell Faith what he told Buffy about past Slayers accedentaly killing someone and how its not her fault?

Shouldnt he as a former watcher be on both Slayers side?

Its no wonder Faith went to the Mayor and began to see him as a father figure....

She saw his grooming as love and care for her because from other adults she never got those things

Do I give up too easily or is it weird that for this internship application they just sent me a bunch of materials and are asking me to make a finished product for them before they decide whether or not to hire me
